As a kid in the 90s, i never understood or cared for the lyrics. And so far i only new the Ugly Kid Joe 1993 version but original it was from Harry Chapin 1974. Both versions are great and are a little bit different, also in the choros. "Cat's In The Cradle" (HARRY CHAPIN) My child arrived just the other day And the cat's in the cradle and the silver spoon My son turned ten just the other day And the cat's in the cradle and the silver spoon Well, he came from college just the other day And the cat's in the cradle and the silver spoon I've long since retired, my son's moved away And as I hung up the phone it occurred to me And the cat's in the cradle and the silver spoon Harry Chapin - Cats In The Cradle Re: Song Lyrics (and music in general)Re: Song Lyrics (and music in general)I'm in love with this song.
