Topic: Bitten
Bitten - Based on the critically acclaimed series of novels from Kelley Armstrong. Set in Toronto and upper New York State, BITTEN follows the adventures of 28-year-old Elena Michaels, the world’s only female werewolf. An orphan, Elena thought she finally found her “happily ever after” with her new love Clayton, until her life changed forever. With one small bite, the normal life she craved was taken away and she was left to survive life with the Pack. Pretty nice Canadian series about werewolves... pilot episode was ok. Decent wolf CGI, the story isn't anything original, but it doesn't feel like it's targeted at the dumb teen audience. Plus it's a Canadian show so Laura (aka Supergirl ) can show a little bit more skin. Definitely gonna check out the second episode.

Re: Bitten
And do I need to mention that the show opens with Elena's sex scene?

Decent, will check a few more episodes out. but dosent the story feel a bit like a ripoff off Hemlock Grove? btw, i thougt the wolf animations was terrible.

Re: Bitten
Very, Very, Very, Disapointed. It's the same old thing, She hates being a werewolf, she wants to be normal , doesn't like hunting humans etc. And how can she be the only female werewolf?? It's ridiculous! In short , not sure if i can stomach another episode

Re: Bitten
Do a bit of research and you find out there are only 3 werewolves in the world that has been transformed by being bitten - and not afterwards being tracked down and killed after surviving, she is one of the 3. Authors choice - this is not werewolves in the traditional sense like we can see in The Underworld for instance. And so how it works in the books or in the series it makes sense she doesn't want to be a werewolf - clearly you have no patience, ability to think outside the box like the authors of certain shows and just want all series to make perfect sense but only in the way YOU see fit mr.cameron - well I say good luck with that.

I'd say Hemlock Grove is better though it's hard to judge after only one episode. But seems from the books there could be some good twists and turns to come - will continue watching. Was also hoping the wolf transformations would be better and they could be alot more fearsome, seems it's a new trend.

Research on Werewolfs? Really!! I saw the "white lady" the other day in my front room LOL Listen, i don't really care what you think, it's still BOLLOCKS (rubbish for our American Friends) Don't you want to see something NEW or ORIGINAL, not the same shit remade time and time again. I Quess your small narrow mind can't take it all in. HOW'S THAT FOR THINKING OUTSIDE THE BOX......

It's a trap! Typical sanitized Canadian TV (less than mainstream american still). A few butts, body doubles and shadowed sideboobs. (At least from first episode). Lots of skin to pretend but without the guts. Besides that (because it's just a detail of course ), the first episode was much less difficult to go through for me than The Originals for example. I'll check out a few more episodes even though I'm a bit of tired of the genre.
Myka : You slept with her didn't you ? Pete : Well... you... you told me to investigate ok ? So... she's unarmed.

I never said she went nude and I wasn't expecting that from a Canadian public tv network. I just meant they're a little bit more tolerant it Canada when it comes to sexual content, even if some of it is "cheated" as you've pointed out.

Bitten by Clay (i bet) Turned by Clay (i bet) Betrayed by Clay (i bet) Who wouldn't hate the thing that turned them into a monster? (I would) That is why this is so daft ( i would not care about any of them) If this was me i'd be a million miles away doing my own thing screw the pack! screw the mutts! screw jeremy! screw clay Elena go back to the man you love and F**k the rest, LOL PS i suppose the season would be very short ( somehow i don't think that's a bad idea, lol)

Re: Bitten
After seeing three eps I'll pass on this one. The more I watch the show the more I'm convinced that I'm wasting my time on something that's not that original and not that well written even to be a guilty pleasure.

It's on my list still too. I don't think it's that slow, but then I watch The Walking Dead. If The Walking Dead gets any slower I think it will actually start going backwards.

After the previous episode of TWD, I'd watch Bitten any day - got zero desire to watch TWD (although probably still will)
