Thank thee Dan Harmon and Chris McKenna, Community is back! After a horrible season 4, the show is back on track.

It has switched direction, but it isn't back on track yet. Much to salvage still.

Re: 5x01-02

It feels so good to have the real Community back. Like star wars episode 1-3 , the fourth season of community NEVER happened.  Thumbs up for the Resurgence of a brilliant show.

No I´m not Tom Hanks - duh!!

Episode 3 was awesome big_smile Didn't have much faith in Community left, but they seem to be stepping it up

I haven't seen Community since season 3. Should I skip to the current one ?

I wouldn't recommend anyone do that with any series.  I think you should take any TV show as a whole, not pick and choose to watch just the "best" series.

And to be honest, I've seen all 3 of this season, and I don't think it's returned to form at all.  I live in hope, but I personally think it's game over.

2020.  Meh.

I understand that view, and to some extent I agree. For the few shows I do follow and care about a lot, Adventure Time, Sam and Cat etc, watching in the order they were intended is important. But, for shows that are mainly something I keep on in the background when doing other things, I think it's ok to skip a season if the consensus is that it wasn't good.

That's where I differ from a lot of people here.  I think if a show is only good enough to have on in the background while I'm doing other stuff, it probably isn't worth bothering to watch.  Don't get me wrong, I often *do* put shows on while I'm doing other stuff, but I normally get sucked into that other thing and before I know it, I've missed a bit of the TV show and have to rewind it sad  If I'm not bothered about rewinding it, then it's time to stop watching it altogether.

2020.  Meh.
