Re: Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
but these two nerds are getting on my nerves. Can't stand them
i like my nerds young and hot
Re: Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
how can they make the episode with the first real super power sooo boring?
Re: Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
I'm finding this show a bit like looking at a picture of food. Looks good on the surface but there really isn't anything for me to sink my teeth into. Hopefully that will improve. The show isn't actually bad, but it does need to give us something more substantial with the long term story arcs.
Re: Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
Eh, not grabbing me at all.

There was such hype about this program but I have already stopped watching. I thought it was just me but recently read the ratings aren't good. Although ratings aren't always a good measure of a show!
Re: Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
The show has no hook. Nothing to make you invest in the characters. There relying to much on the universe to make the show work.
Re: Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
It lost me after episode 3.. Maybe I'll watch the rest of the season, one weekend during the summer...
Re: Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
Chris Hemsworth's god-like arms will grace movie theater screens everywhere on November 8 when Thor: The Dark World premieres. And because Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. exists in the same timeline as the events of the Marvel films, the series will have to deal with the fallout of the film's events. Thus, on November 19, you can expect to see those events dealt with (i.e. probably mentioned or worked in like Extremis a la Ironman 3) in the episode "The Well." Here's the official synopsis:
“In the aftermath of the events chronicled in the feature film Marvel’s Thor: The Dark World, Coulson and the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. pick up the pieces–one of which threatens to destroy a member of the team.”

Ah well, have to catch up on this then....could turn out good in the end, fingers crossed....!
Re: Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
Yeah, latest ep was good. Scripts are getting better and the stunts and FX continue to be well done. I liked the way they linked the TV series to the movies. Apparently the Nov 19th ep will take place in the aftermath of the recently released Thor movie (which pulled very well when it opened overseas last week and is expected to do as well in the US this weekend).
I like the way they handle the "I was dead but I got better" angle with Colson.
Re: Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
I was wondering if there was going to be anything special about the latest episode as it's the only one (as far as i noticed) that Mr Whedon talked about in a Tweet.
"(But this ep really swings.)"
I have still to watch any of them yet.
Maybe soon.
Re: Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
It has been dropped from my list. I really wanted to like the show but it's just so mundane. It's like every other generic spy show except with the name Marvel attached. There are just so many better shows out there.
Re: Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
so I'll take it S.H.I.E.L.D. bought all the remaining equipment of the Dollhouse,
to build a Tahiti Resort for Agent Coulson...
Did i fall asleep? For a little while :D
Re: Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
Just finished with episode 3 and with the rest on the playlist it's not looking all bad! Of course you have the occasional blunders but all in all it's really not that bad - will continue watching hoping it will grow a few levels. (but why no HULK yet??? ))

Re: Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
So, what do you guys think of the newest episode? I thought it was genuinely great, they really did step up with the quality. A sign of things to come?
oh what episode number was this? ( to busy to look it up on the date (guessing number 6))
Re: Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
This show isn't a superhero show. Its a cop show set in a super hero world. They also seem afraid or unable to show on actual super hero's on the show.
