I reserve the ability to hold my judgment on whether it coming back is a good thing. If they go the route of breaking up Castle and Beckett I don't see myself coming back. This show has been on to long for the contrived emotional wreckage to be compelling any more. It worked in the earlier seasons, and now it's high time they focus on something else. Evolve or die.

great start for season 6. alexis and Pi storyline was pointless. felt like a filler.

Agreed - the Alexis and Pi storyline was pointless and should have never made it to the screen..
Is it just me or did both Rick and Kate look significantly older than last season?

I don't think they know what to do with the Alexis character anymore. It just kind of bring down the level of quailty in the show these days with the scenes around Castles family. Nothing is going on with the mother and daughter anymore to really make them being in episodes worth it.
I liked the overall episode but could of done without the ending. If it was any other character sure maybe cause than their would be that .05% chance of them killing the person off.
