Re: 5x14
yeah - another fantastic episode. The only downside another week till the next
Re: 5x14
That was very intense
What can we do to deal with the long wait?
Re: 5x14
Hm, that went way overboard....
Re: 5x14
awsome, awsome awsome - can't wait for the finale!
Re: 5x14
Only thing I didn't like was how they just interrupted Jesse's execution, like, "oh, lets just wait a bit first, because it's too hot out to get the info from him right now".
The reveal of why he was kept alive was fine...but the stalling by Todd was really weak.
Other than that, the episode was superb.

Re: 5x14
anyone else notice when walt was rolling the barrel, you could see his pants that he lost from season 1
10 Years and counting
Re: 5x14
So.. I really hope it was on purpose and Walt knew Skylers phone was probably tapped from the police, thus admitting that he was the only one doing it and forcing her to do his bidding, that way skylar and his family would be clear.
Or was it supposed to look like Walt went totally nuts just doing random things out of fear and anger? In wich case would be way out of character even considering the circumstanses.
Re: 5x14
Wasn't that the entire point?
Would say so.

All 3 I hope!
Re: 5x14
Director of that ep confirmed that the pants from season one were deliberately in the barrel rolling scene. Also, Walt did chew out Skylar on purpose to get her off the hook with the cops. At the firehouse, the script specified how the chess board was to be set up. That, and the way Walt collapsed after Hank was killed was all deliberately done to follow the "king has fallen" theme of the episode. Oh, the baby saying "ma, ma" was a fortuitous accident as the kid unexpectedly wanted her nearby mom during that shot. The director (the guy who directed Looper) saw an opportunity and kept the "ma ma" bit in the scene.

Like the producer said, it's a golden age for TV drama and getting the Emmy for best show is like being called the best of the best.
