Family Guy have been over the line a couple of times but not so often, and most of the time they steer away from the dark side with something goofy. The characters in A.D are unlikable too, maybe Claus is tolerable but the other ones are almost totally awful in every way. Especially Roger is 100% horrible. In FG the characters are more multidimensional, they have both good and bad sides. Even Stewie. The F.G-characters are also more stupid than mean. I actually feel sickened sometimes from watching A.D because of the nihilism and egoism and really nasty subject matters, drugs, sex, killing, exploiting other people and treating them bad in every way. I prefer The Cleveland Show and Family Guy, except when FG crosses the line because when they do it is waaay over the line like that christmas episode. Cleveland show never crosses the line, it is almost family friendly. More of a feel good vibe. AD is "feel bad." Re: American Daddofus wrote:
come to dark side I guess i like the dark side because i like american dad, and i think Roger is the best character, and the best family guy episodes are the most disturbingly dark onces. And Cleveland show is quite boring, I still watch it but mostly when I have nothing better to do... Re: American Dadbut then again I love a show that follows a serial killer, and the best episode of any tv show that have ever been aired is the south park episode where cartman makes scott tenorman eat his parents. Something must be wrong with me? Re: American DadMore Hollywood sympathy emerges in the wake of the Newton shooting on Friday. After movie premieres like Jack Reacher and Parental Guidance were cancelled, as well as SyFy's Haven episodes being pulled, now Fox has also followed suit, honoring the victims of the Connecticut school massacre by pulling new episodes of Family Guy and American Dad on Sunday, airing repeats instead. The network decided not to air Family Guy's "Jesus, Mary and Joseph!" episode this upcoming Sunday in which Peter tells his own version of the nativity story as well as American Dad's "Minstrel Krampus," which features a demon who punishes naughty children. The episodes are being withheld due to possibly sensitive material. Instead, Sunday's programming will feature repeats of "Grumpy Old Man" and "Wheels & The Legman and The Case of Grandpa's Key." There's no word yet when the shelved new episodes will air. Re: American Dadtwas a boooring episode...was half expecting to see the muppets in the balcony - fair parody on a theater but still boring for me atleast. They Call Me The "Jax Lovah!" Machine!

Daemons are benevolent or benign nature spirits, beings of the same nature as both mortals and gods, similar to ghosts, chthonic heroes, spirit guides, forces of nature or the gods themselves. Re: American DadRe: American DadLooks like they need more airtime for BS 'reality' shows... Re: American DadDid they really just do a 3 episode season 10 and now we are into season 11? ??? Season 10 had 20 episodes: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/American_Dad!_(season_10) Re: American Dadmapu wrote:
The production codes show an increase in the season by one I'm guessing its because they have moved channels and the "first three" episodes this year aired on Fox now we are on TBS Re: American DadWikipedia has a 7 episode season 1 and a 16 episode season 2, on here we use a 23 episode season 1. There is a 3 episode "leftover" stub from Fox, which Wikipedia rolls into the new Season 11 on TBS. Oh here we leave season 10 with 3 episodes and start season 11 with TBS. So whichever naming camp you are in, we are on season 11. Posts: 26 to 47 of 47Forums - Next Episode → TV Show Discussions → American Dad |
