I have given it a go for 24 hours but prefer the olf layout and am going to switch back.

i kinda like it the only thing is picks can be kinda small and at first glance u cant easily see what show is.
Maybe we get so re designed for show pics with this new design in mind?

I kinda feel like the site is ruined. May sound drastic but i can explain.
I am a very casual user of the site. I havent made my own watch list even after a few years on the site. Took a few years to register even. Before i could see all the shows that had episodes out. Now it only shows 9? Makes me miss out on a lot of shows. The feature to just show 9 show instead of all of them being aired on that day kinda takes away the purpose of the site for me. being able to see what will air and what aired yesterday without much effort.
For example right now i have no idea what shows will air tonight or tomorrow other then the 9 showed. I dont know what i should do to find out.
Am i being forced to become an advanced user in order to continue to use the site? I would assume that most of the traffic on the site before was casual users like myself.

There should be a new link there, on the right of "Today's Top TV Episodes:" saying "All Recent Series »" which leads here: http://next-episode.net/recent which is the list you're used to ...
Let me know if that "unruins" the site for you

There is link for that, on the right of "Today's Top TV Episodes:" saying "All Recent Series »" which leads here: http://next-episode.net/recent which is the list you're used to ...

Also keep in mind you can revert to the old homepage look at any time through an option in your homepage settings.

Switched also back to the old design, coz many pictures are prettier but are too distracting to me and it feels a bit overcrowded. I don't get a quick overview of the shows anymore.

I swithced to old one too. Mainly because my list felt too lonely . Another thing is since summer comes I'd like to see what's coming on so I might pick a show or too (I know there is an option for Season 1 shows to display , but maybe something older I forgot about will show up).

I also switched back quickly. I know basically what shows are on, and I have desided almost before the show begins if I am going to watch it or not. I don't live in the US, so for me n-e is a place where I find what season and episode MY series has. And it has to have some order. With the pictures, it distorted that order. No quick glance there. I usually spend 10-20 seconds a day on n-e, and I don't need any unnecessary distractions to keep me here more.

It's nice. I think that covers how I feel about it. It not better or worse than before just different. I'll keep the new layout for a couple of days and see if I get used to it more. If I don't then I don't, but I'll give it a go.
With such a few shows on right now it's hard to imagine what it'll look like when shows are in full throttle, but right now it does kinda work.

Can you do a ctrl+f5 refresh or try in a different browser?
No idea how that happened, I can see the same shows with their proper images ...

Wow guess I am the only one that likes it.......I'm always in the minority 
Santah any chance we can come up with new icons - make them more obvious what show they are as little small atm
I don't mind working on some as guess it would be a bigish task

nice idea but uncomfortable for me, switched back to the old one...
If there was an option, I'd rather have the images pop up when hovering over the show's name or an image besides the show's name and still have 1 item per row
