There goes my dream of it being canceled and Netflix buying the rights and rehiring Dan Harmon. Season 4 was the biggest drop in quality I have ever seen in any series. In Netflix it could have made 6 seasons and a movie. Usually I don't bother complaining about these kinds of things but Community used to be my number 1 favorite comedy. So unique and heart warming. This is just... sad. Is there a timeline where Dan Harmon wasn't fired? I want to teleport there.

Well the thing about Community at least to me is it never was this great show that everyone loves so much. A lot of episode were hit and miss, so I wasn't really shocked when the first three episode sucked this season. I haven't seen any episode past that point.

Indeed, that's what i read to. From the article i even understand that Chevy Chase also quit? And Dan will only return if Chase returns also?

I lost interest 2 minutes into the first episode of season 4. Doubtful I'll watch from what I've heard to be a terrible season because the creator of the show returns

Yeah, just skip the last season, and wait for the new season to start. Last season sucked. Even if some things don't make sense for those returning to the show, it's better than suffering through the awfulness of last season.

So sources say that this will make its return in a few days on january 2nd.
I am nervous about it because the potential of this show is so high and with Harmon returning it could be amazing again.
At the same time season 4 was a disappointment.
Trying to keep my expectations low but it is hard
