I still disagree with you. I might have done a fair amount of complaining in the past, but i have changed (or at least did change at some point) that posting style into constructive critisizm. and i think people should not like too easily things. with a bit of a cautious mind and realistic worldview, you'll see many things as i do. when you have noticed me praise some episodes, it means they were good ones. i understand your personal vendetta against my posting style and belive me. you will not see me go away. Unless I die. Re: Season 3It was more of a funny observation then anything else GodZionu. I guess the overdramatic response from you added to that. Good luck. Re: Season 3for his defense, you seem very hostile against him Re: Season 3drizzel wrote:
you see here is the proof. When i did read your post I assumed you were hostile against me. Re: Season 3they still take the interesting parts from the book and turn it into boredom. Re: Season 3Godzionu: what parts of the book did you miss? and what changes did you not like? i dislike that they have spend valuable tv time on theon greyjoy. they should save him for later. but biggest flaw this far is daenarys spending three episodes on what is actually one chapter.(spoiler from the book) ▼Spoiler however it is early in the season, and they have done plenty of things right(the tullyes where perfect for their roles and riverrun looks just like i imagined it would) so it is still my favorite show and best adaptation of a book i have ever seen. they did skip (spoiler from the book) ▼Spoiler since in the book it happens on the march from the fist of the first men before they arrive at crasters keep. i think (and hope) that they are just shuffeling action and the drama around to make the pacing more tv friendly. Drake: Are the restraints really necessary?

i just kept waiting for him to shout out "save me barry!" Re: Season 3Seems like the ones who have not read the books are enjoying this show more than the ones that have. Ignorance is bliss . I totally did not see the ending of this episode coming and that makes me one happy pirate . Re: Season 3I just wish they would show more Arry. I don't care much about the other characters to be honest. Maybe kelly c a little but she should just settle down with her friend and live happily everafter with the dragons imho. You can read a talkshow, but not watch it? There aren't really that much action in the books. 38 2013-04-15 21:49:26 (edited by Vana 2013-04-15 21:49:43)Re: Season 3I thouroughly enjoyed the part with Podric! To my recollection, it wasn't in the book, but it was all so brilliant I also hope they are shuffeling some of, what I believe to be, key elements in several characters stories. ▼Spoiler . So glad we now know whos the true oracle of this world right now concerning all of mankinds thoughts, feelings and how they "really" should react to a tv-show! 40 2013-04-16 03:41:51 (edited by Quinlan 2013-04-16 03:44:13)Re: Season 3(episode 3) Well... unfortunatly, seems to me like another episode where I just don't feel we moved much of an inch. I didn't read the book except the first so I wasn't spoiled on that side but... ... something is not going right. Before this season, I watched again all the episodes from the first and second season and I enjoyed every single one of them... If I do the same thing when season 4 starts, I know there's at least 2 episodes already from this season that I won't be really bothered if I skip them. (Or only to see Tyrions scenes because they are the highlights of them). I suppose I'll be happy at the end of this season as it will be packed enough. Arya scene = waste of screen time (unless Hotpie has a great future later in the books) Anyway... sure didn't help that my automatic download fell for the bad audio synced last scene. EDIT : For the record and just to be clear, it is still the show I like the most. I like the world, etc and I'll catch up with the books someday. Myka : You slept with her didn't you ?

there is lots of action in the books. well my analogie was bad, since i do not watch talkshows. let me try to rephrase what i wanted to say. now as we have come to season 3, they (writers and other crap) have introduced so many characters (yes i know in the books there are way more) that what they show on screen is so hectic, people do not feel real, there is no chemistry and acting looks like they just woke up and have not had their first coffee. plus they still contribute wayy too much screentime on unimportant characters leaving out the interesting characters. i am not very good with words, but when i was reading the book i never felt like fastforwarding it, yes in the past 2 episodes they have managed to turn this show into lame, boring, nothing happening show. where there was spark, it has gone out now. bring on your flame latitude! Re: Season 3I am starting to feel sorry for the next-episode community to be stuck with you GodZionu. In the books there is not much action and there is always a ton of build up before it. The build ups are the core of the books and what G R R M enjoys the most so it would be bad to leave it out. If you had read the books then you should know that every scene they have showed this season holds very deep meaning and that most of them build up towards something important for that character, their group, the kingdom or some other event taking place this season or another season. Just because you or others dont like a character doesnt mean they should be removed or not get any screen time. Personally i am getting tired of you always trying to get sympathy. "English is not my first language". Well it is not mine either. I dont see how that matters. "I know you hate me". I dont think anyone hates you. I personally dislike your attitude and your way to complain about stuff. At the same time you also say that you decide when the show is good again? I find that very sad. You say that the show has lost its spark but that is not true. If anything you have lost your spark and care for the show and that is what have made you not enjoy it. I can assure you that many of us still enjoy the show very much when it comes to acting, writing, the storytelling and the chemistry. I understand that you will not be able to stop yourself from trolling the boards with your negative energy but i hope that we one day will be able to get by without it. Re: Season 3I thought this was a very strong episode. The scenes in the north with Robb Stark and everyone else were great. The scene with the funeral i loved and later in the episode we got to see Robb Stark show some of his tactical mind. That is what have made his bannermen give him the title of the king of the north. Catelyn is an annoying character (i see her as the GodZionu of the game of thrones) but i cant help but feel sorry for her. She has lost so many in such a short time and the sorrow is a great burden to her. Her husband is dead, she believes her two youngest sons to be dead, her father is dead and her two daughters are believed to be held captives by the enemy. The grief is holding her down and at the same time she has lost the connection with her son that has been her only support for months. So many things taking place in Kings Landing. Petyr "Littlefinger" Baelish starting to make his moves. We learn that he has been borrowing a ton of money which pretty much makes the Lannisters own the throne even more and what might explain some previous happenings but also that a bank we dont know much about has borrowed even more to the court. Jamie Lannisters and Brienne of Tarth is growing closer. I think it is very well done how they started out seemingly very awkward together and now are starting to build some very strong chemistry. Makes me think of the saying "True love starts with a fight". Jamie is in bad trouble now when he has lost his fighting hand. After all he was beat by a girl when he could use his good arm. Stannis is in trouble but he still fights. He is on a quest for his own dragon but it seems difficult as he needs a sacrifice with royal blood. Daenerys story might seem a bit slow but i enjoy it. She is struggling with her morals to not have slaves and i also think it is an important fight between Jorah Mormont and Selmy Barristan. Jorah tries to change Daenerys view about things while Selmy either agrees or bends his will to fit hers. Aryas story was again good. She got a very strong presence. It was time to say good bye to Hot Pie and that scene was brilliant. "Winterhell" set the mood and then the discussion of what the bakery was. Just hilarious. Samwell Tarly seem to be doing better now as they reached Casters home. He is able to lay his strength towards other things then just trying to survive. He is back to his old self about worrying about other people instead. Jon Snow has been greatly overshadowed by Mance Rayder. I am glad they picked such a strong actor for that role and he is showing a lot of strength. Looking forward to every scene with Mance in it. I think Theons story is the only one left i havent talked about. It feels to early for this story and i am not sure where they are going with it. Still the torture scene in the previous episode was horrid as it should be and the escape now was interesting. Theon kinda put himself in a position to deserve some hard times from his actions last season. So many scenes i am looking forward to but just need to be patient for now Re: Season 3xzeal wrote:
I very much enjoy the show and I have read/am reading the books. I more review the show based on its own merit, because they do a pretty good translation book - > moving pictures. Not everything in the second season was great, yes, but it was still quite fantastic. The main thing with changes from the source material is not what you change, but how you change it. Stephen King really doesn't understand it, as his TV is mostly 1:1 to his books and that's not how it works. Some things need to be cut, some added, some transformed. And how you do that is the main key. Take three aspects from the second season. tl;dr it's not what you change, but how. Re: Season 3hehee. anyone with another opinion than yours is automatically trolling and bringing negative energy to the group. so basically you are saying that when i do not see things like you, i am pointless person and should just leave. i have to be happy with everything they show to me, i can not have my own opinion and see things differently. yet again i would like to point this out. people are different. they see things differently. they interpret things differently. you say books have no action. i completely disagree with you. you say tv episode was superb and awesome. i completely disagree with you. and this makes me a troll. i suddenly feel very very sad for you. this was the main reason i hated when they started to show too much of her in the tv show. i am currently finishing book 4, and to spoil a little she is still not important character.
