Re: Arrow (1x01 - 2x22)
The stuff on the island at this point is way more interesting than the stuff going on in present day.
Re: Arrow (1x01 - 2x22)
Nice, one of the best episode of the series. Now that was a surprise. And I'm glad that female Birkhoff joined the show for good.
me tooo!

indeed
indeed.
this show is still better than Cape. tho i still hate some parts of it, it's watchable.
Re: Arrow (1x01 - 2x22)
I know right. Cape was way better the dude actually wore a cape in every episode. I didn't see Oliver fire a single arrow in the newest episode.
This show needs to do a better job of showcasing it's villains. They can use the time they spend showing how Oliver tracks them and use it to show why their villains. We need a reason to root against them instead of what it's basically at now 'fire bad, cookie good' type of clarity.
(btw was being sarcastic only ever saw the pilot of the Cape before I began to question my own sanity.)
Re: Arrow (1x01 - 2x22)
They need to restructure the show a little bit. The flow seems off lately.

Re: Arrow (1x01 - 2x22)
Indeed... I'm a bit annoyed by it.
As much as I don't like some storyline dragging for like 10 years (smallville) where a character still doesn't get the clue of who is who...
The Vigilante seems to have a bit of an easy time telling almost anyone. Half his entourage already knows who he is now.
And this week final moment of the episode... Cheap shot of writing. Just the kind where you wonder if they will ever die already or leave someone dead.
A dead character will soon become original as opposed to the one who... "comes back".
Pete : Well... you... you told me to investigate ok ? So... she's unarmed.
Re: Arrow (1x01 - 2x22)
Island story is still the most interesting to me...even if we do know the ending.
Re: Arrow (1x01 - 2x22)
There's more mystery potential on the island, something that shows like "Lost" made much of. Arrow does the flashbacks better than Lost, so I guess the writers can learn from the mistakes of others.
Re: Arrow (1x01 - 2x22)
well in a sense i seem to like the island story much more than the Vigilante story. Yet this show is NOT Lost, so in a way this island stuff does not fit there. they should tell maybe the island story in one full episode and leave it.
Re: Arrow (1x01 - 2x22)
S'funny that, I was just thinking of editing all the Island bits and pasting them into one .avi when the season finishes.

Re: Arrow (1x01 - 2x22)
Who writes this crap? In a city of millions a madman kidnaps Thea's lowlife boyfriend? I was very forgiving thus far, but I think I'm done.
Gdamn xrnzaaas have u anything postive at all to say on this forum? like 95% of your posts you are whining on something.

Re: Arrow (1x01 - 2x22)
It's a phase... I get through it myself where half of what I watch is just moronically boring somehow and I think about not watching it anymore.
Then I vent here...
Then I watch the next-episode (oh yes I did it).
...
The main hero is still kind of really dumb though.

No, it's just that I like to comment when I have to say something negative about a show. I watch a lot of shows with (mostly) good episodes, but I'm just too lazy to comment on them. But okay, I loved last week's episodes of Being Human US, Grimm, Shameless and Bates Motel.
PS. And don't think that I don't remove shows from my active watchlist. Arrow is gone (yay! no more posts here!) and I also recently dropped The Mentalist (for the 3rd time I think ), Community and The Vampire Diaries.
Re: Arrow (1x01 - 2x22)
I really think the newest episode, mostly the last 5minutes of it makes up for some of the lull moments of the last few episodes.
Re: Arrow (1x01 - 2x22)
I see there have already been some compilations out for the Island scenes.
Just google "Arrow Island Bits".

This casting news will make a lot of genre fans happy. Summer Glau, of Firefly, Dollhouse and Sarah Connor Chronicles fame, is joining the cast of Arrow. Glau will play the villainous Isabel Rochev, Vice President of Acquisitions of Stellmoor International, a company with designs on taking over Queen Consolidated. The role is recurring.
Re: Arrow (1x01 - 2x22)
NICE, very happy right now
