It should've been better. The main twist wasn't too original and most of the Paris CGI scenes looked really cheap.

Oh, am I the only one who thought it was a good watch? Best two episodes I have seen in a long time. I was actually thinking of dropping this show, but these eps changed my mind.
Got this "woah!" feeling when becket lost it and kicked the girls chair, some nice acting there!

The two episodes as a whole were pretty fine, seeing how serious episodes aren't the shows strongest ones .
I'd say it's a good watch even though the setup was much better than the resolution episode.

I don't like the very fast introduction and the disappearance of relatives in shows. The whole potential this could have to many episodes seems rather blown away instantly. But with Castle I'm not so disappointed than with the similar episode in Supernatural, that was awesome and plain awful and stupid at the same time.
And I didn't get the Paris thing, why was it necessary to fake these shots with bad CGI, it could've been any other American city with real shots. A least they mentioned the Liam Neeson similarity
