I like Iron Maiden which is a more softer version of "heavy" music and your song is similar, as it's practicly a harmonic version of the original slayer song Re: Random stuffThis is so much better than the other GnR that is performing with that name... ...where did I put that rat's ass I could give?

You are too young to have an opinnion. Original GnR is the best. And if it must be a band today. A Slash driven band deserves the name. Never Axl's wannabe GnR. ...where did I put that rat's ass I could give?

Re: Random stuffOf course original GnR is the best, but it won't return. Slash's trying with his solo work and Velvet Revolver, but that didn't really lived up to the standards, I always thought that Izzy Stradlin was the main musical factor in the band and without him they tried that cover spaghetti album and that wasn't good either. Past is good, but let's not try to fit in the present and leave it where it is. Re: Random stuffOrlando wrote:
Izzy was always the second guitarist. Slash isn't trying with his solo project but succeeding beyond Axl. Guns N Roses was the '87 line up. And if it would be today it would be with Slash, not with Axl. ...where did I put that rat's ass I could give?

Re: Random stuffBut we don't really know what did who write. For instace. Appetite record, all songs written by Guns N Roses, and 2 songs also credited to other writers. Illusions. You can find from wikipedia who are the credited writers. But as Slash plays all the solos, he wrote all those solos. Who wrote the intro riff, or who wrote the chorus...no info there. So You can't really say that Stradlin was a major composer. If it is not defined who wrote and how much. You would think that if Stradlin wrote a solo, he would have played it... ...where did I put that rat's ass I could give?

Re: Random stuffOh god not another GNR debate! People really should get over the fact that the old GNR was and never will be again. Period. Neither Slash solo band nor the new GNR can compare to the old GNR haydays. And you shouldn't compare them. They are a different thing and I respect Slash for being able to create new stuff and I infact have nominated Apocalyptic Love as the best album of 2012. (I always choose my favourite album of the year at the end of each year. 2009 was Chutzpah! by The Wildhearts, 2010 Nightmare by A7X, 2011 The great escape by Jane's Addiction). To steer away from the age old GNR topic, what new albums rateled your cage in 2012? Re: Random stuffmclame wrote:
"Halestorm - the strange case of..." was the best album of 2012, closley folowed by "Machinae Supremacy - Rise of a digital nation", "Epica - Requiem for the indefferent", "Sabaton - Carolus Rex" and "Dragonforce - The power within". "The speed of the Ninja, is the speed of the night."

I bought and listened only 2 new albums last year. Monster and Nocebo. Both were awesome but Monster was better so that is the album of 2012. ...where did I put that rat's ass I could give?

I actually think both "Rise of a digital nation" and "Overworld" was slighly stronger than "A view from the end of the World" Regarding Lzzy Hale, yaeh she hot, and according to me, one of the best female vocalist in the World. her vocal range is Amazing. PS. I work in and live near the Town, Machinae supremacy is from. "The speed of the Ninja, is the speed of the night."
Re: Random stuffOh boy germany chose their song for the next eurovision song contest again, this time there were actually some good contenders: Winner song: The more i hear it, the more i like it but it's still just a standard euro pop song which you will forget in about a week. Probably better choises would have been: Cool song: Cute/60s song: Funny/unigue song: 80s Song: Re: Random stuffAgree with you. The Righteous Ones would have been the better choice in my opinion too. After that for me came Heart on the Line from the links you gave. Glorious would have been third at most. Also the other songs may sound cool and funny but they wouldn't do any good at the ESC in my opinion. Maybe LaBrassBanda would have gotten some extra votes for their performance alone but their song would not get as much as the third above. Also the ones who say Glorious sounds like Euphoria are a little to hard on the song. Yes the sound is very close and when Cascada goes Gloriousss in the song it almost sounds like Eophoria and the song probably came from a idea close from Euphoria but they are different songs. You are probably right, i liked them coz they were a bit different than ur usual ESC songs but that could also mean that people maybe wouldn't like them. This song i forgot to mention yesterday, is also not bad but like Glorious a mainstream pop song. Re: Random stuffRe: Random stuffeurovision sucks..
