Topic: Primeval: New World
Aka the anomalies have moved to Canada. It's not as good as the original, but very close. The storyline is rather interesting and with some hints to the original ARC project, the dinosaur CGI is OK*, the cast is doing a fine job despite the fact that most of them are noobies (the only recognizable person from the cast is Sara Canning aka Aunt Jenna from The Vampire Diaries). Definately stays on my watchlist. * ▼Spoiler pilot featured a T-Rex, two raptors and a pterodactyl PS. In case you're wondering about the original cast... ▼Spoiler only Connor made a guest appearance in the pilot... no Abby, though

I know what you mean, but Primeval was one of few dinosaur shows that didn't actually fail and told a decent storyline. As for obtaining the episode, I'd recommend this release: Primeval New World S01E01 720p HDTV x264-2HD

That guy in the picture is very much recognizable but from where? The odd part of my brain directly said "yeah ofcourse that is dane cook" haha but i know it is not him. Are they even alike? No, but seriously he was in Smallville or something like that. That is where i know him from. No, had to check it on IMDB, it is that guy from Eureka, ofcourse!

Re: Primeval: New World
I reached the opening credits before realising I was watching a show filled with budget cgi dinosours and instantly deleted the brand new folder I created for the rest of the season. I should have known better and continued to follow the basic rule of dinosaurs on tv. Unless your Jurassic Park 1, dont bother.

Re: Primeval: New World
Yep, it was ok. Nothing special, but the CGI was good and I'm starting to like the cast. It stays on my watchlist for now.

Re: Primeval: New World
What a terrible excuse of a SciFi show. Stopped watching halfway through the pilot and deleted the rest.

He he, a truly nice way to attract people to watch the series. But I liked the Angry Birds more... it had a lot of funny moments.

Re: Primeval: New World
Primeval New World cancelled The Canadian spin-off of the UK Primeval hasn't made it to a second season, due to poor ratings... Despite a bumpy start, the Canadian spin-off of ITV's Primeval eventually worked its way into a decent groove with impressive CGI, believable character development, exciting monsters-of-the-week, and an engaging season arc. More's the pity then, that Space yesterday announced its decision not to commission a second season. Those initial stumbles cost the series dearly, and like many others of its kind, it wasn't able to recover from weak early ratings. Whether or not Primeval New World lived up to its Torchwood-ian promise of being Primeval's older, more violent and sexually risqué brother is a matter of debate, and as our reviews have shown, the series was certainly not without its flaws. The decision though, not to let it live beyond the thirteen episodes, is a disappointing one for fans of the franchise who've had to endure no small amount of disappointment when it comes to the UK original's disappearance from our screens.

Re: Primeval: New World
Totally forgot about this after the first episode (or second) but if it's cancelled... guess I won't grief myself to a no-ending show.
