Topic: 5x04 - Murder, He Wrote

Castle and Beckett’s plans for a romantic weekend in the Hamptons are interrupted when a dying man stumbles into Castle’s backyard, collapsing into his pool. Unable to escape the lure of the investigation they join up with the small town’s well-intentioned, but inexperienced sheriff to find the killer.

I really liked the episode, and Ryan knows now. I'm glad he covered for them, and episodes like this make me so happy their finally together.

When Castle said "Caskett," the internet exploded.

Omg I hate when this happens in tv shows. Of course a guy had to fall in his pool...

Re: 5x04 - Murder, He Wrote

Well it is a tv show that's not aimed at being reality based. I mean I would have been more then happy for their not to be a case this episode and have it all be character based, but that's never going to happen. The one thing I really wish cop show's would do is take a time-out from the procedural and just do an episode focused on the Character's lives. My favorite episode of Flashpoint is when they did it. I feel like it would had so much more insight and be a nice break for the show.

Good episode. I don't mind that their vacation got interrupted... it was fun to watch. smile

As for the show being realistic or not... I don't expect Castle to be another Shield or Southland. I know that often too much happens and there are too many coincidences, but as long as they're not making more of those crappy action episodes I don't mind. smile

Ho ho, let this be my 1st post on forum.. smile

Great episode, the kind I missed last season. Anyone noticed Castle's angry-resigned face around 31 min when he let go off the case and instead Beckett started wondering about it? big_smile

yeah I guess I was just trying to figure out what you met since what you said didn't make a lot of sense to me

Re: 5x04 - Murder, He Wrote

What I meant is that they probably wouldn't wait so long for Castle & Beckett to hook up. Or Beckett in the meantime would sleep with someone else. wink
