Daemons are benevolent or benign nature spirits, beings of the same nature as both mortals and gods, similar to ghosts, chthonic heroes, spirit guides, forces of nature or the gods themselves.

Re: Suggest TV Series
hello all, i've been a "silent member" on this site for quite a while now, but occasionally i do pipe up... anyway, i'm in need of assistance basically, i'm going down to Spain for 6 weeks in November i use it as a perfect opportunity to catch up on epic tv series that i've either never watched, or not watched it awhile. Because I rattle through them one after another, I'm after really good stuff that requires all your attention, no matter how long it goes on for... Last year i watched all the episodes: - The Sopranos - Veronica Mars - The Pacific - probably a few more but i can't remember Anyway, this year, I've already got these shows stocked up, just wondering if you can think of or suggest anything else... - The Wire - Breaking Bad - Spartacus I don't mind them being older stuff that's ended, in fact I think I prefer stuff that has finished because i have enough time to watch all of them, so hit me with some epic series' please

Re: Suggest TV Series
thanks for all the suggestions, yea, i should be pretty good now i think haha.... a lot better than having to deal with Spanish TV lol i think watching shows that are already over is kind of a missed art... nothing better than watching a show finish (properly), to see how the guys in charge saw their baby ending of course then there is shows that end prematurely... *cough* firefly

Re: Suggest TV Series
Actually must second the suggestion of Being Erica. My wife made me watch the first season with her...and it took me a while to get into it(at first it seems really cheesy and lacking in intensity and meaningful drama)...but honestly, I have not seen a show with more profound and more believable character development, ever...and the ending was superb. Just keep in mind that the show is about how the main character works her way from being a miserable failure with all sorts of personality problems, to a character that is actually quite inspirational and wise. -Rob

Re: Suggest TV Series
So i finally caught up with all my shows and now i got nothing. Any new shows that have started this season and are good? Or old ones I have missed? People who do not know me very well please do not suggest dramas. Thx everyone.

i do watch the last one. have been lazy on updating my watchlist. archer is immediate no. i only watch the simpsons and used to watch SW:TCW. i really do not like cartoons. bullet in the face looks to be british and it's immediate no again. Is Burn Notice really that good? Better than Nikita? orlando. you ok`? you suggested me comedies? Why?

Re: Suggest TV Series
Why? Because Archer (the style is very realistic, not cartoonish), Bullet in the Face (which is Canadian, silly goose, and amazing), Eastbound & Down and Legit will be right up your alley, comedy wise. And yes, Burn Notice is that good. Much better than Nikita, only the first season is a bit slow in comparison to the later ones. You know that I know you and wouldn't recommend you things that you really wouldn't like. With the comedies I'm like 60% sure you'll like them. Archer's pilot I didn't like (and still don't), but the later episodes are getting better and better and from season 2 it's hilarious. Bullet in the Face is a 6 part comedy series which you will love, if anything, watch that. Eastbound & Down is about one of the biggest assholes in television with great lines and dick humor. Legit is all about dick jokes, but at the same time it's not shallow. Burn Notice is the best of the USA with its formula - season arc with episode's being self contained. So? And I'm suprised you don't watch Family Guy, it's highly offensive and anti political correctness.

Re: Suggest TV Series
interesting. i do not actually enjoy wathing dickjokes on screen. nor do i care about them. i have tried family guy and american dad, but they are just horrible. maybe if those shows would be with real actors and not a cartoon it would be different, but i do not care boot in the face jokes in a cartoon. i don't know abouyt comedies yet. i lost a lot inside me during my 3 months of depression and while catching up tbbt and two and a half men i really did not find those shows funny any more.
