Re: Suggest TV Series
Reluctant to post comedy suggestions for Rob after reading his thoughts on Arrested Development, but hopefully some of these will help. The comedies are chosen based mainly on feel goodery and to a lesser extent hilarity. None of the dramas are procedural and are all top notch and compelling. Comedy Raising Hope (My Name is Earl clone with less hot chicks) Monk (Predecessor of Psych and quite humorous) Parks and Rec (Start with Season 3 and you will believe in KNOPE) The Good Guys (Hilarious light-hearted action cop show that is unique) New Girl (Funny Romcom like How I Met Your Mother) Reaper (Funny comedy about good overcoming inner demons) Happy Endings (Comparable to How I Met Your Mother) Drama Homeland (Smart, fast and brilliantly acted show about homeland security) The Borgia's (Period drama based on the life of a currupt pope and the House of Borgia) Luther (Not a typical cop show as Orlando mentioned, very intense and well made) Boss (Good non-procedural with Kelsey Grammer as the troubled Mayor of Chicago) Kings (Modern alternate-reality show based on the biblical story of King David)

Re: Suggest TV Series
Supernatural is great if you just stick with it, no doubt! I agree, if you like buffy you will probably find it atleast equally entertaining. Though for a new show did anyone get to check out Derek yet? Starring Ricky Gervais from The Office (UK) - found it to be pretty hilarious, hamster on a piano lol

Me too.
you what now? Friends is basicly the mother of all modern sitcoms.
Doing the mother after having sex with all her fantastic young daughters just isn't the same. You had to do the mother first..

After all those years seeing reruns of Friend I still giggle despite knowing all the punchlines, but seeing your avatar kinda makes me wonder who the mother of sitcoms actually is

Re: Suggest TV Series
So every show on my watch-list aside from Hellcats and Stargate I have seen at least the pilot. Does anyone see anything that's missing from it that I should give a try. I tend not to like anything too outdated which is why I been putting off Stargate

Re: Suggest TV Series
See my other problem is I just don't enjoy time piece drama's. I was bored watching Mad Men, it's one of the reason's I stopped watching GoT, and I'm pretty sure I attempted BoB but only made it ten minutes.

Yep or he could use handcuffs on himself, tied to his chair. The first ep is a bit slow but alltogether BoB is great.

Rwings, I like you and all, but I don't think I can even look at you (your avatar?, your posts?) knowing you haven't seen BoB. #sadpandaface

Re: Suggest TV Series
It's truly one of the most stellar human dramas ever created, not just a war shootemup. Give it a chance.

Daemons are benevolent or benign nature spirits, beings of the same nature as both mortals and gods, similar to ghosts, chthonic heroes, spirit guides, forces of nature or the gods themselves.

So Stargate, Hercules, Xena, Oz, and Twin Peaks...also maybe give Band of Brothers a try. Also that I need an avatar and some people are bullies.
