Re: 5x12

There was actually point during this season when I thought there was still hope for this series to be good. But then they went on to kill Chris Keller, The Swede and Doctore. Seriously? You hire such an awesome cast as the council and you just kill them of, while you let the whole god damn main cast remain intact?

I was actually considering dropping it at the beginning of the season but I guess I've followed it for too long. The characters don't make any sense anymore and the only way the writers know how to do character development is to invent crazy shit. Jason is pretty much the only one without anything supernatural to him. And that is only until we realize that his sex drive is supernatural (male nympho or whatever it will be).

And don't even get me started on that fucking Ifrit bullshit...

Does anyone know how closely or at all the series follows the books? I think the first couple of seasons followed the books pretty closely but as I've never read any of them I don't really know. Anyone here read any of the books?

Also you can't go on killing any of the main cast as the noise people make when one of the main group dies is insane. Just look how people reacted when Tara died.

Re: 5x12

Just because it's a supernatural show doesn't mean that there are certain rules they must abide. Like vampires can do that bad ass speedwalking thing. So when Jason goes to the vamp HQ, he cannot simply go all John Woo bullet ballet on a bunch of Vamp Spec Ops. Even supernatural shows create their own rules, which they are expected to follow. This is what seperates good shows from the bad. And yes I did follow this for the "normal" people. If there are only supernatural beings around it makes it harder to relate to anyone.

As I stated before, I'm just too "used" to watch this show, so stopping is a bit hard. Also, if we are not allowed to state illogicalities, errors and just plain dumb, what is there to discuss then? Why should I stop complaining if a show that I used to like is going down the drain? For me this is called discussion and it's one of the main reasons I post here.

I read the books and the show did follow the books a bit, but now they are totaly off the rails, nothing that happend in the last episodes(last season really) will you find in any off the books
