Topic: Longmire
Longmire
Walt Longmire is the dedicated and unflappable sheriff of Absaroka County, Wyoming. Widowed only a year, he is a man in psychic repair but buries his pain behind his brave face, unassuming grin and dry wit. Re: Longmire
I just watched the pilot as well, and while the editing was kind of crappy, I found myself really liking this show. It's definitely going on my watch list. Does anyone else think that the main character looks and sounds a little like Harrison Ford?

Re: Longmire
Going to give it a couple more episodes so currently reserving judgement. Different is how I think about it after watching the pilot.

Re: Longmire
Dropped it after 20 minutes, even Katee Sackhoff didn't help it.

... and she was dancing I keep that show... I do like myself a complicated "lonesome sheriff"... also a reason why I like "Jesse Stone"

Re: Longmire
Starbuck performing in a strip club, on a dare, to obtain information. Nicely done. The show is sort of a heartland version of Jesse Stone. I miss the ocean and the New England gangsters.

Re: Longmire
It's not bad, it's not transcending either. Barely on the line to keep it as far as I'm concerned. A few more episodes maybe.

Re: Longmire
I'm trying hard to like this show, but the sloppy writing and plot lines are letting it down. In the last episode they found two bodies in a river. With a very large national park across from the river why weren't they buried, they would never have been found. Then there was the Mexician hit man, WTF was he thinking opening up at that range with an AK, did he want the good guys to get away. Sloppy writing, and plot holes to drive a truck though

Re: Longmire
I gave up on it. I agree, the actors are good, but the writing and direction are not of the same quality. Close, but not close enough. Too bad, as the basic concept was good.

Re: Longmire
Down goes another decent show. According to TV Line, producer Warner Horizon plans to shop the series to other networks.
Not getting my hopes up obviously but I think this one is worth checking out other networks.

Re: Longmire
Good. Surely not la Crème de la Crème but a good show overall that deserved a better ending. It sounds like it will get one.
