Re: Batman: Arkham Asylum
I tried the game, but got frustrated in the first 15 mins where you can't do anything and can't skip the boring stuff where The Joker just talks and what not... I wanted to get straight to the action but nooo. So kicked some ass, after a too long wait. Uninstalled the game and returned it to the store claiming it was broken and got my money back... Maybe it's just not my genre... I likes NFS Shift more...
...where did I put that rat's ass I could give?
Daemons are benevolent or benign nature spirits, beings of the same nature as both mortals and gods, similar to ghosts, chthonic heroes, spirit guides, forces of nature or the gods themselves.

Re: Batman: Arkham Asylum
So is Arkham City better than Arkham Asylum? I played Asylum for a while but I got a little sick of the run here, run there and got so lost I eventually gave up ;( I was enjoying the rest of the game though, so has anyone played the new one? Any reviews? Edit: for clarity

Re: Batman: Arkham Asylum
Got it on Steam for 40$ (because I already have Asylum) judging by the reviews -if you like Asylum ,you will love Arkham City , the reviews says it's awesome...

Re: Batman: Arkham Asylum
Just finished Arkham City on my 360. Spectacular game although you could feel that they were trying to squeeze too many DC characters into a single game. IMO it's bigger, better and more badass (boss fights!) than AA.

Re: Batman: Arkham Asylum
More badass is the word! I'm playing on hard (didn't on AA), and it's a bit of a challenge. Much more so than on i.e. Deus Ex or Rage. Just finished Grundy, after quite a few tries

I really like the Grundy poem, even though I know nothing about Grundy. Waiting for the PC version to come out before I play this, hopefully I will actually know the villains this time around.

Re: Batman: Arkham Asylum
Good comic, but I've liked finding secrets in AA & AC, because aside from the satisfaction of solving the puzzle you always get something else... a recording, concept art etc. Much better than being forced to find 100 things that look alike and don't give you anything in return.

Re: Batman: Arkham Asylum
I was thinking of playing Batman: AA during christmas holidays on PC. Which one is better for controls KB + mouse or X360 pad?

Both work fine, although it clearly had been created for console conf.

Re: Batman: Arkham Asylum
Well, a friend of mine tried playing it on PC but gave up. It works much better with a controller. I've only played it on PS3, and it worked very well.

Re: Batman: Arkham Asylum
I've played AA on PC & 360 and it was almost unplayable to me on a keyboard.

Re: Batman: Arkham Asylum
Weird, I finished 100% of AA on Hard difficulty, now I'm going on New Game Plus (also hard difficulty) and I don't have a problem with the keyboard settings. hm.

Re: Batman: Arkham Asylum
Well good thing I have em both then. I think I will start with kb + mouse as I am a PC-player in the core and that's what I'm most natural with.

Every gamer is different. I was never good at playing TPP games like Tomb Raider or Resident Evil with a mouse-keyboard combo and always used PS2 or 360 pad.
