Re: Homeland (1x01 - 1x08)
▼Spoiler I hope they dont turn Brody around for a terrorist. The part were he told Carrie the real story about her suspicions was a very nice revelation and showed so much of his character and how he tried to cope with it everything.

Re: Homeland (1x01 - 1x08)
This is perfect television so far!
▼Spoiler Not really any spoilers i believe, but don't wanna give anything away; A truly amazing show. Liked it from the start, but loving it right now, 7 episodes in. I think this show has so much depth, the last episode put so many layers "in the open", perfect television. There is obvioulsy another bad guy in the cast(i would think), that we don't know who is yet, brilliant. Maybe Mike? So far, all hints have been misleading, though not totally confirmed. The "lie"/stress on the polygraph of Saul remains to be confirmed..

On the contrary I loved 24, especially in its early seasons. But toward the end it has gotten very formulaic (mole in CTU, find bad guy only to reveal another, even badder guy, rinse and repeat) and while I enjoyed the twists when they were new they got cheap very fast. I like fewer, deeper, more meaningful twists rather than a lot smaller, cheaper, just to shock you twists ...

I am getting bored with this show, it's slow and uneventful. Dropping. And for the record, I don't like 24 either.

Can I be in Al Qaeda if I am a strong believer in atheism.?

I agree, will probably drop it too, but I'm a fan of 24. To be honest, I don't think they're that similar anyway. I mean, Claire Danes hasn't but shot, blown up, stabbed, beat up, drugged, kidnapped, arrested and freed all in the same day yet has she?
2020. Meh.

Just had some time to catch up on episodes 7 & 8... man, this show is good. And the ending of ep8 was simply mind-blowing.

Don't know what to think of this show. It's watch-able but strangely enough it is a bit boring for me. It's just that he has been tortured for god knows how long, and it seems like it doesn't effect him at all these last episodes.. And the blonde police woman is kind of disgusting(plays her role well tho).

Putting aside all the guessing if Brody is a 'mole' (too much 24, I know ) or not , we know from episode 1x09 that ▼Spoiler he hasn't been tortured for at least the last three years of his capture. So it's more than enough time to return from being a wreck to being reasonably normal.

Re: Homeland (1x01 - 1x08)
Just to clarify why she is disgusting: The first scene you see her... And the way she is always hinting her vagina is smelly... No wonder when she doesn't have time to personal hygiene. Big turnoff for me at least, maybe that's your thing O-man? xrnzaaas wrote:Moze wrote:Don't know what to think of this show. It's watch-able but strangely enough it is a bit boring for me. Do we know yet of 1x09 how long the relationship with the boy lasted? And when he was found by the Americans he had at least 1year of beard
