Here in Canada we got the Bones season finale a day early for some reason

Am I alone in thinking it was nice to have a feelgood ending to a season for a change?

The sex plus the held hands ending of the last episode plus all the awkwardness with Brennan's dad indicated they have been "doing the deed" for at least two weeks, I know I know, there should have been a hiatus between ep 22 and 23, but the script goes from "early angela labor" to "late angela labor" ... so timewise, it makes sense. What I liked is that they got awkward but not really romanticky, in short, true to character. Yeah it's a bit cheesy, but is a good cheesy.

Yeah, I was thinking that was more likely as it wasn't obvious that they'd slept together.

I thought it was quite obvious that they had slept together when they stayed together that night? There was scenes indicating so with both her dad and Angela, Bones never admitted it being so but being pregnant did. I don't buy the donor theory.
But they're not a couple, yet. Knowing Booth he'll step up, but maybe the writers don't want it happening yet so Bones will shoot him down at first

I thought it wasn't obvious as I wouldn't have thought that Booth would have "taken advantage" of Bones in the emotional state she was in...

Bones is not one to be exploited like that. She slept with Booth, she went into the room, she's probably the one that took the iniciative. Her scene with Angela on that episode states clearly that they slept together AND that it was good. Plus they were "couplely" on the season finale, discreet, because these are not teenagers, but her dad picked the clues up.
