I see it more as being defensive of my conclusions, explanations, and arguments, rather than the episode itself.

I agree, it wasn't a good episode, but it was very much on par with the standard of the show. There are so many worse shows / episodes out there. The episode might be a letdown when it comes to Who (especially in the context of the last two stellar seasons), but "pure crap in every aspect" looks nothing like this episode smile
