I'm with you on that one. It did got me excited however who the new boss will be. Jim Carrey en Will Arnett both applied for the job, so will one of them be the new manager of the office? Cause that will be sweet! Cause if Steve Carell should be replaced, there aren't better candidates for me than those 2!

No , actually the producers want Catherine Tate for manager.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! You've gotta be shitting me :-(. What a bad call. Couldn't they get all the others? (cause every one who applied for the job, would be a better fit imo). If she is the new manager of dunder mifflin, i will be seriously considering dropping the show .

Re: The Office (US)
It was a good episode, but not a true season finale to me. Jim was again better than usual, which I missed since season 1 & 2. Jim Carrey was very subtle, I didn't even notice it was him from the start, his accent hid it very well. I liked the woman the most, she is nuts like Steve Carrell !

It would be cool if the original Daniel Jackson would be the manager...?
...where did I put that rat's ass I could give?
Daemons are benevolent or benign nature spirits, beings of the same nature as both mortals and gods, similar to ghosts, chthonic heroes, spirit guides, forces of nature or the gods themselves.

James Spader is working on a deal to return to NBC's The Office this season -- but he might have loftier ambitions than Michael Scott's desk. According to Entertainment Weekly, Spader is in talks to return as Robert California, who appeared last season interviewing for Scott's office-manager job (thanks to Steve Carell's pending departure from the series). But the twist is that Robert might actually be in the running for Dunder Mifflin CEO, currently played by Kathy Bates, whose Harry's Law was renewed for next season.

Re: The Office (US)
And he got the job. http://insidetv.ew.com/2011/07/06/james-spader-office/ I'm reasonably glad. His character was ok and I'm super happy that they didn't hire that woman from Britain. Kathy Bates would also have been great, but she's got Harry's Law to worry about so she probably wasn't even considered.

Re: The Office (US)
I was still hoping for Will Ferrell, although that wasn't realistic. But I don't think we can complain. He is just as obnoxious as Steve Carrell so that's a plus

He's the CEO . They still have to announce who will be the new regional manager.

Re: The Office (US)
Exactly. I'm still hoping for Jim Carrey. Don't think it will happen though... Or what about Charlie Sheen? He's probably looking for new work now, and then we can get a whole new kind of inappropiate behaviour on the workfloor . The regional manager position is more important than the CEO position imo. We get to see the regional manager a lot more.

Ah did not see that, sorry ! It could be Jim Carrey, he hasn't done a lot of movies lately. If it's him, it would probably become the best comedy series ever.
