Topic: "Late Night with Seth Meyers" is off by a day?

In both the web and the iPhone app, it seems that "Late Night with Seth Meyers" is off by a day.

For example, S7E9 appears to be airing Monday at 0:30 AM.  But really it airs Tuesday at 0:30 AM.

So, it shows up on my iPhone at the very beginning of Mondays "Weekly Schedule", instead of at the very beginning of Tuesdays "Weekly Schedule".

Re: "Late Night with Seth Meyers" is off by a day?

Does it only happen with https://next-episode.net/late-night-with-seth-meyers ?

Re: "Late Night with Seth Meyers" is off by a day?

That was the only show that I had noticed it on, but that is the only "early morning the next day" kind of show I watch.

I just added the "The Late Late Show with James Corden" which also airs at 0:30, and it does the same thing.

Technically, both of these shows air on Tuesday 0:30, not Monday 0:30.

from https://next-episode.net/schedule/ but is also appears this way on my iPhone

Monday, October 7 12:30 AM
The Late Late Show with James Corden 5x20 CBS
Late Night with Seth Meyers 7x09 NBC

Re: "Late Night with Seth Meyers" is off by a day?

Setting the offset at https://next-episode.net/settings?action=airdates and then on the phone again did lead to some weird issues for me when I became a user here. Not sure if the code was changed since then. Play around with that setting on your devices and see if things change.

Re: "Late Night with Seth Meyers" is off by a day?

I had no immediate luck with that, but I will keep trying, or just keep living with ti.  It is not the end of the world.  Thanks.

You're welcome. Maybe santah has another idea. smile

I'm aware of this issue, but frankly - I don't know what to do about it.

Is this schedule correct?

https://next-episode.net/late-night-wit … s/season-7

Keep in mind the official airing hour for each of those episodes is 0:35.

Let me know and we'll go from there.

No, not correct.

Re: "Late Night with Seth Meyers" is off by a day?

Right.

Well, this is what comes from thetvdb.com

The schedule that comes from tvmaze is, unfortunately the same and I'm guessing this is the official "schedule" as well. Which technically is wrong (because as a late show it airs after midnight the day of airing) and because of that little technicality - we have this issue.

So what do we do about it?

I don't have any magical solutions, so I am OK with doing nothing.  It is not a big deal in the scheme of things.  It was mostly jut a curiousity I mentioned to see if there was an easy fix.

I don't know where Spectrum cable gets their guide feed from, or if they have coded exceptions for it.

That's what I'm wondering if we should do here, but I'm afraid it would only work for those in EST timezone and will cause problems for those in CST ...
