Spoiler

And I know I'm repeating myself, but the end, with Congresswoman Victoria Neuman vs. the Church leader... DAMN, didn't see THAT coming! big_smile

Spoiler

Agreed, but the slaughter at the judiciary hearings was shockingly worse IMO. Personally I thought it gave the Red Wedding a run for its money. Maybe we'll call this The Red Slaughter? Congresswoman Victoria Neuman will be a handful in season three. I wonder how difficult it would be for her to pop Homelanders melon? She popped Shockwave's grape just as easily as a normal human being. Also, am I the only one who felt the vibe between her and Hughie during the final scene of the season finale?

I couldn't tell if she was genuinely attracted to him or if there's some hidden agenda to it that will unfold next season. Or maybe a combination of the two... It is unknown at this point if she is acting in the interest of Vought as a form of controlled opposition or if she actually has an agenda of her own. And let's not forget about Cindy, who escaped from the Sage Grove Center, and will most likely be in season three as well.

Shawn Ashmore as Lamplighter was bloody brilliant! big_smile

The Boys is one of Amazon most successfull original series, why should they cancel it? The Boys will have 10 seasons if the ratings are good enough.

Spoiler

Personally i dident find the judiciary hearing that shocking, i felt first startled and then pretty uneasy yes but not shocked like i was at the Red Wedding, because i dident care that much for any person there that was slaughtered, like i did with the Red Wedding and we saw that head popping effect already some episodes ago, so it wasnt new.

The method in which the hearings was interrupted is what I found shocking more than anything else. Besides, prior to the hearings, we didn't see a bunch heads randomly popping off one by one all over the place, so what we saw before pales in comparison. I expected the hearings to be unsuccessful somehow, just not like that lol. Even the final scene in the finale was shockingly unexpected IMO; the method of attack, and ultimately who was the cause of it. I already knew about the Red Wedding from the books, so it was no huge surprise. Didn't necessarily make it any easier to watch on-screen, regardless whether I cared about anyone in the show or not. A few reasons why I find both series' to be great.

Re: The Boys

Some one mentioned "Suicide Squad" as some thing like The Boys. Well I finished watching S.S.  a a few minutes ago. Not very good , in the end I was fast forwarding through as it was so dire. The Boys is an adult tv series , S.S is for kids, too much slapstick. It tried to do a Marvel squeezing so much in that it just numbed my brain. I see Zack Snyder had a hand in it. I dont think it did his rep. much good? In my opinion  it is comparable to Marvels Guardian of the Galaxym which is better
