More happened in the finale than the rest of the season combined. Seems to be a pattern. I can't believe this is renewed as it's pretty clear the writers have been struggling to fill episodes since about the middle of S1.

For me, S3 was clearly the worst. The finale gives me hope that S4 might get better again. I would be surprised though if it gets renewed again.

This season has just been too wierd for me, and I like wierd stuff.  I haven't really followed the story, but that could just be because it's been so bad my attention has wandered onto other things, quite frequently.

I'll watch the next season if it gets one, but if it doesn't I won't miss it.

2020.  Meh.

I don't mind weird (well apart from the singing and dancing and exercises from their improv classes), it's the repetition and glacial pace that annoys me.

You didn't mention if you'd only watched 4x1 or 4x1 and 4x2, so I won't check those spoilers. smile

I mostly liked 4x1. Not perfect, but a good (enough) beginning.

I don't recall the "fuck" necklace from previous seasons, is that new? Fits perfectly. big_smile It doesn't seem that the show came up with the idea. smile

Both, but spoilers are just from 1, and really the first few minutes. i'm just paranoid about spoilers since I once got groused at for mentioning an actor guest starring in an episode, which gave nothing of the plot away.

I didn't particularly enjoy this musical episode. I usually loathe musicals and musical episodes, for a number of reasons. If nothing else, they usually feel like they are made for the actors more so than the audience. The Strange New Worlds one started out okay, but went on for far too long for my taste. There are only two musical episodes I am actually okay with. The first one is the one on Buffy, because it wasn't just whimsical but serious in parts and actually helped the story along. The second one is now this one, for both a similar reason and the fact that it actually took the (at one point literal) piss out of the premise.

What I really enjoyed about this episode was the ending. Straight up using the main theme for that (and then basically just cutting out) really helped drive the point home. Well done, IMO.

i liked that at the 2.5x speed i use for this show the episode only took about 10 minutes to get through after i skipped past the songs
