This is a story of amusement and artificial consciousness in the near future, based on the 1973 movie.

Abrams' greatest work since Lost?

My god this is good. Keeps me on all kinds of edges of my seat for an entire hour.
The pilot was GREAT and episode two did not disapoint either.

Re: Westworld

This show is mainly Jonathan Nolan, not Abrams.

Loved it.

Re: Westworld

Always wondered what the creator of Memento would do next. Nolan did not disappoint. PoI was impressive and now he's doing HBO (half as many eps per season and no censors).

Re: Westworld

A bit different to the original but the pilot was not bad at all, will definately check out more.

Re: Westworld

Very promising. Stunning visuals, great acting but the soundtrack is a mess. Dialogue keeps getting drowned out by what should be background noise (although that problem appears to have been partly ameliorated by the second episode).

Must be your setup, I heard everything fine.

No, my set up is fine - its the first thing I checked, and as I said, 2nd episode was much improved.

Re: Westworld

I loved it as well. And you must have gotten a bad version CarmarthenLad, I watched the pilot both on my computer and together with my roomies on our setup in the living room, there were no problems with music drowning out the conversations

But yeah, the show is amazing so far, and hopefully it'll stay as good for the rest of the season. The combination of Nolan and HBO has my hopes up.

Re: Westworld

Had to give it a proper intro, this show is amazing and deserves its own banner :3

Re: Westworld

Just wanted to say this is the best 7 eps I've seen in ages... if this continues as good, it's maybe (edit: not maybe...it is) in my top 5 tv-series overall

Re: Westworld

Holy shitballs... that's a really f'd up way to mess with viewers heads....

Re: Westworld

Very satisfying season-ender. Can't wait for more, heard it might be 2 years away though.

Re: Westworld

I remember seeing the first one when it came out and this reboot was very well done. Faithful to the original but taking advantage in advances in tech and production.
