It got a bit too much in the last episode IMO. I don't mind it in general, but would prefer a bit less of it in the future.
Well based on the 5x16 preview they showed us at the end of the last episode, the Team Morgan vs. Team Ginny documentary series will be taking a hiatus. The only format they need to be concerned with moving forward is staying alive. ▼Spoiler If only poor old Tom understood that... well, at least his sister's still alive, for now.

Yeah, curious to see how depressing the last episode will turn out to be. ▼Spoiler scorpius074 wrote:If only poor old Tom understood that... well, at least his sister's still alive, for now.
Hehe... yeah, him staying on the crumbling bridge... not the smartest decision.

However, fans are wondering if this is the start of a bloodbath in the Season 5 finale.

‘Fear The Walking Dead’ Needs A Drastic Change, Like Killing Off 95% Of Its Cast https://www.forbes.com/sites/paultassi/ … -its-cast/ Damn, this guy really dislikes the camera theme (and the showrunners, and most of the cast)! Yeah, to say he seems a bit pissed would be an understatement. If it's causing that much of a spike in his blood pressure, maybe he should consider dropping the show and don't review it ever again.

A great improvement already would be if Morgan kills Al by mistake and then finally commits suicide out of guilt. And somehow they lose all tapes at the same time. Two birds with one stone. Then they hang Victoria on a tree from her horse. And then they all go to find out what's up with these high tech guys. ▼Spoiler Even in the last episode, wtf, a few zombies and everybody starts crying. I would make a camp, regroup in the morning and come up with a solution how to kill them off in a small batches. No, instead let's cry a little and call mommy for a help. They are 20 people, it's like 10 zombies to kill for each max. 20% can be killed through the gates. Then the weakest distract the zombies, while the strongest go in and kill zombies from the behind, repeat. For a second I was excited that there will be some camp like in the Westworld, cowboy stuff and zombies. Nope, more soap opera. Both in TWD and Fear it's like the dumbest part of the population, nobody has ever heard about warfare and combat strategies and even all copies of The Art of War nowhere to be found

While that sounds funny... whoever wrote that has never watched a great TED Talk like Jill Bolte Taylor's "My stroke of insight"! "The 25 most popular TED Talks of all time" has something for everyone.

Re: Fear the Walking Dead
Oh, I have seen so many BS virtue signalling TED talks, that this is completely legit joke. I'm the kind of person who checks claims, numbers and statistics, very often somebody just takes something out of context and goes on the stage to get his 15 minutes of fame and push his biased views. One of my favourites is where some old guy messed up his health for his whole life, then at old age picked up cycling, his health improved and his speech was pure cycling propaganda, everybody must cycle and break out of the conspiracy of cars which is killing the humanity There is a recent joke in Russian - before we had fools and bad roads, now we have activists and a terrain.

Re: Fear the Walking Dead
can this show continue?? I don't see how, unless the viewing audience can somehow forget the entire fifth season. The nuclear plant, the airplane, the making of videos, etc... all for nothing as the writers didn't capitalize on any of these plots to really push the overall story. Now the cast has ballooned to 20+ characters so the writers make a lazy attempt to story-tell them out of the cast. ▼Spoiler Then at the end we find out that the girl that morgan was crushing on is not actually sick, but pregnant. Only problem is that we never even saw so much as a kiss shared between them. Now all of a sudden we are to believe that she is pregnant with morgan's child? and then he is shot in the heart? Somehow I'd bet that morgan isn't dead, that the writers have tried and failed at classic walking dead cliffhanger. Lemme guess, morgan survives somehow, either a new character helps him or a crossover character from the walking dead show saves him, and then morgan gets his revenge and reunites them all just in time for the season six season finale. This show is tired and predictable. They almost need to start over with a new walking dead show, because the most interesting storytelling for zombie apocalypse shows is at the beginning. Zombie fans like seeing society crumble under an undead infestation - that's how we can relate to the cast better, but these writers just fast-forward or time-jump way ahead and skip it all.

Hi and welcome to the forums! I added a few line breaks to your post to improve readability and also added spoiler tags. You don't want to ruin the fun for someone who hasn't yet finished the season, right? ▼Spoiler agh1029 wrote:Then at the end we find out that the girl that morgan was crushing on is not actually sick, but pregnant. The show never hinted that it's Morgan's child... Yeah, of course he's not dead, the wound was over his heart, not through it. (Then he would probably have died very quickly.) I would be very surprised if they let him die now, even if surviving such a wound in a zombie world is not very likely.

It sure can continue It just (probably) will suck even more than before. I don't consider good both TWD and Fear (except the beginnings of the shows and a few good episodes), but since there are zombies and a potential to be great, I still continue to watch them (TWD keeping the finger on the fast forward button to skip the useless soap opera) and bitch about them But somewhere I saw ratings for this season and they did not look good, tho not sure about that, don't really know how they work.

▼Spoiler Well, that ended up not being too big of an ordeal thanks to all the plot armor. Dollars to donuts Rick, *cough* I mean, Morgan, survives and thrives in season six.

Re: Fear the Walking Dead
Not only had but they need to also ▼Spoiler kill off the rest of everyone else too ... Also that stupid ▼Spoiler baby better be born to a very dead Grace and then born as a zombie baby. They messed up the first opportunity for that with ▼Spoiler whiny Lori's baby in TWD. So make it happen! Unfortunately we all can guess this will simply be a lame setup for ▼Spoiler the new "children of the apocalypse" TWD spinoff - Monument. So little baby now teenager Judith has a friend (Grace + Morgan's daughter/son of heroes past) to play with/date.

Re: Fear the Walking Dead
I used to really look forward to each episode of FTWD, then they switched Morgan across and it was all down hill from there. The gritty harder hitting story lines were all but a memory, it was like they were trying to make each episode worse than the previous which has continued right up to the end of season 5. ▼Spoiler Unfortunately I think Season 6 can find a way to be worse than S5. If Morgan survives with no weapon, a gunshot to the chest and 4? zombies rapidly closing in on him while he's slouched on a porch it will be a massive facepalm moment, but I don't put it past the showrunners to use the opportunity to introduce another new character that comes in and saves Morgan, or a sudden burst of life to Morgan and the fortunate positioning of an item that can be used to kill the zombies, going by previous episodes in S5 it just needs to be the pointy end of a feather to get him out of trouble. Some of the scenes in S5 have been ludicrous at best, climbing across the bridge of cars was poor at best, in one scene I noticed they had one zombie holding back 12 zombies along the side of a car and not moving toward the easily in reach character. Zombies who can reach up through a ladder and grab a character but apparently forgot they could do that. Then in the season finale there was the army of Zombies in the Gulch being held back by a fence that only stayed upright to suit the innane conversations that had been written for the cast, in any other scenario the weight of the herd would have been enough to bring it down. I thought the cheesy close quarter gun fights against The Saviours in TWD was pretty bad but FTWD easily wins the award for most unrealistic ludicrous scenes in what seems to fast becoming a comedy. The real question is what did we the viewers do to deserve this pile of crap, no one could call it remotely good viewing, so the only conclusion is they've told the showrunners to make it as shabby as possible so it won't hurt as much when they replace it. S5 got 55% average critic score on Rotten Tomatoes, it probably deserves closer to 35%. (Moderator edit: added spoiler tags - please use them if you share recent developments)
