Set in the near future, Colony centers on a family headed up by Holloway and Callies who must make difficult decisions as they balance staying together with trying to survive. They live in L.A., which has been occupied by a force of outside intruders. While some people have chosen to collaborate with the authorities and benefit from the new order, others have rebelled and suffer the consequences.

It looks promising and it has dramatic potential. Glad to see my main man Josh Holloway back together again with my girl Sarah Wayne Callie. I enjoyed their performances in Whisper; not to mention their respective solo acts in Lost and Prison Break. I hope Josh can bounce back from Intelligence since it wasn't bad but ended up on the chopping block anyway. You should checkout the Carlton Cuse interview pertaining to Colony. I'm looking forward to this show! I will always give sci-fi a shot at least before dismissing it. Don't let me down baby! smile

I feel bad for Snyder, as greasy as he is I think he's trying to help "the people" as best as he can, from within the system.

Hope they don't kill him hmm

...on the other hand I hope Laurie gets killed smile ...err I mean Katie tongue ...(she's just as big a dingbat here as she was in Walking Dead).

Nice!! Glad to hear that Suasor! I watched the pilot awhile ago because it was released early and I was anxious to see how it would be. I'll be looking forward to binge-watching this season once it's complete in March. smile

Good show , the premise executed very well , plot believable (in such circumstances) , overall nice surprise , definitely a keeper (my replacement for Continuum).

Yes!  Laurie/Katie needs to die. 

But overall, really like this show.  It makes you wonder which side you'd actually be on. Are the Resistance worse than the Oppressors ?

I would defintively be on the side that gave me most benefits. The people who works with the oppressors generally lives in fancy houses and has all the luxuries they need, and can also get stuff like passcards and other favors. They have safety and power as long as they do as they are told. I do not see any benefit in being on the other side, especially when it also seems it is impossible for them to win.

I think my move would be to appear to work for the Oppressors, like Will Bowman...so play a dangerous game but for greater reasons than just to get a personal matter fixed (getting his son back in his case).

In many ways Alan Snyder was doing this as well, and I feel really bad for him and how both sides treated him like the enemy. He was trying to make the best of the situation, for the people's benefit, going as far as he could I expect...really looks like those aliens have got everything nailed down, and there are many people willing to do all the terrible oppressive things they are asked to do, just out of their own greed...much the same as how it is in our own world but with far fewer aliens, unless you're a conspiracy theorist wink

Anyway I'd try to play the long game on this one...I expect there already is someone we'll be introduced to later in the show doing this very thing.

Good show overall btw. Except for DerpLaurieKatieDitz, who needs to die tongue
