Re: Bosch

Just finished watching series 3, moved the story on nicely and with enough threads at the end to tease a S4, which we will hopefully get, but also closed down the story enough if we don't get another series. Good actors with enough sub plots to keep the interest.

Re: Bosch

OK....so I just finished S07 and I have to say that imho its the best so far. Probably most because one gets "invested" in the characters in the show over the seasons - but also...the balance between politics and grunt-work was excellent, the partner-story was moving, the "family-stuff" worked just fine much better than any of the prev seasons.

"Fucking Bosch"......no new seasons sad

I am left wondering if there is no more seasons because the tv-show cought up to the written or.....`?

Anyways; if you like a good crime/detective-story imho this series is about as good as it gets.

Re: Bosch

That's interesting, nothing to do with the books Bosch is based on I guess.

I'm guessing this one will follow Maddie more than Harry,

2020.  Meh.

Hopefully Maddie has outgrown the pouty sullen annoying kid thing.

Bosch: Legacy will jump ahead almost two years. It will focus on three characters from the original series: Bosch (Titus Welliver), now working as a private detective; Honey “Money” Chandler (Mimi Rogers), who last time we saw her was a high-powered defense attorney who’d been the victim of a murder attempt; and Bosch’s daughter, Maddie (Madison Lintz), who is now an officer with the LAPD.

Re: Bosch

It could be good, but this part "Maddie (Madison Lintz), who is now an officer with the LAPD" I suspect can stink a lot.

Totally agree, I find her facial expressions so bloody irritating. Pouty insouciant sooky little s*******d

Has Honey Chandler's shooting supposed to have buggered up her speech or something? She seems to have aged 20 years and is almost slurring her words. Not sharp at all.

FFS I kept thinking how does Bosch

Spoiler

expect his house to survive an earthquake in LA sitting on those poxy thin poles and then bam

These are people who build cities literally on top of a major subduction fault and housing developments on top of ridgelines surrounded by tinder dry brush and Santa Ana winds. The motto of California property owners is "It can't happen to me ".
