Re: Gotham

I too am thinking of dropping it.  Not really holding my attention.

Re: Gotham

Overall I would rate the season 6/10 at the most. Not sure if I want to stay for S02.

Re: Gotham

It's gotten very slow moving. They need to pick up the pace.

Re: Gotham

I've only seen 2 so far and think it's ok - is it worth continuing with the other 20?

That's the second biggest X I've ever seen.

Yes. Selina Kyle carries the show with her feline charm.

I've seen three or four eps and that was enough. Doesn't help that the Penguin was the only remotely interesting character.

The weakest episodes are in the first 10 or so, so might have to power through them. Depends on what you enjoy in it, if it's the mafia and side characters (like Enigma or Penguin), then yes. However, Gordon and young Bruce are mostly a drag.

Re: Gotham

Yeah, I'm liking the way that Penguin and Catwoman are being introduced, I think I'll persevere for now.  Even a very brief Poison Ivy I noticed.  Who else is coming, Riddler, Joker?

That's the second biggest X I've ever seen.

Re: Gotham

You already met someone.

Edward Nigma.

clare foley is a great actress, I wish they'll include her more in the future. I saw Sinister because she's in it but it was sort of scary so I didn't finish it.

I did?  I really didn't notice him.  Weird, I thought I would have picked up on that.

That's the second biggest X I've ever seen.

He is going around asking people to answer riddles and most people do not like him. The riddles would be a give away.

Re: Gotham

I've only seen two episodes, I don't remember anyone asking people riddles, I think I would have realised who that might be.  Asking people riddles, and called Edward Nigma.  Hmmm.  I think there are a couple of clues.  roll

That's the second biggest X I've ever seen.

Re: Gotham

I don't follow the DC comics and I've only recently had contact with the universe thanks to the Batman games and I noticed him instantly in episode 1. ;p I'd even say there were pushing his character too much in the few episodes I've seen.

Re: Gotham

Episode 1?  Maybe I was asleep then.

That's the second biggest X I've ever seen.

Re: Gotham

Yeah, they were pretty on the nose with the future Batman villains, thankfully they eased off later in the season. And Nigma and Penguin became one of the best things about the show.

Re: Gotham

So is there something wrong with me or was the season premiere actually good?

Re: Gotham

I liked the first episode a lot

It was fast paced and introduced a lot of possible storylines for the coming season. I was a bit surprised that the production value was a bit sloppy first season but I think that everything will be better season two.

Re: Gotham

I thought season one was good, but season two is looking awesome.

As an aside, isn't this the most poopy looking peanut butter you've ever seen? The gloomy Gotham lighting just doesn't flatter this stuff at all.

Re: Gotham

The lighting in this show doesn't flatter anything, which appears to be on purpose. Love the sets and the dark atmosphere.

Re: Gotham

It's definitely on purpose - the whole show is stylised.

But that peanut butter is just...disturbingly unfoody.

Re: Gotham

Well that scene did involve the very creepy hitman doing some seriously strange stuff with the detached head of the police guard he just killed. That entire scene was delightfully disturbing.
