Re: Torrent Discussions

Hm, Orlando, why are you looking for alternative sites if you already mentioned four of them? For example Torrentday is a really good site for both new episodes and older shows. Plus they have Free Leech for all tv and movie packs so you don't even have to cheat them if you don't want to maintain your ratio.

Re: Torrent Discussions

TVTorrents are dropping dvdrip and blurays and I like them. sad And tvt was always the best source, so now I'm in a pickle.

Re: Torrent Discussions

Pity about PublicHD.

Anyone tried TorrentButler? IMHO not bad at all..of course its using kickasstorrents mostly lol, so its that..but the interface is gorgeous.

For TV episodes I started using btscene past months. A lot of "noise" there but nothing a tweak on the RSS filters cant fix.

Re: Torrent Discussions

How long has isohunt been closed down for?

Imo it's horrible... I prefer standard list to large pics and besides you have to click on a movie cover and on the Torrents button to find out which versions are available. Plus no imdb link to quickly read what's the movie about.

Re: Torrent Discussions

I dont' know..theres something to be said about flipping trough nice posters as opposed to just table-like lists. I have no problem clicking on the torrents and choosing what I want - if I need more info than whats presented then I go into the linked page from there(usually Kickasstorrents, as mentioned) . Torrentbutler does have a link to IMDB too, on most movies.

But each to its own.

Re: Torrent Discussions

Tvtorrents got busted???

Re: Torrent Discussions

they are usually fast to put updates on twitter but nothing, I'm using showbox now on my PC now haven't needed to use TVT for a few months now.

Re: Torrent Discussions

From their facebook page

Just was talking with some people on irc.torrents.com, (tvtbar room) Johan is NOT going to jail, upgrade taking longer and longer. the reason IRC works is because it is on a different server. Please people calm down, yes this week starts new shows along with returning fav's. I hate the lack of info as much as everyone. Site has been down longer before and will happen again and again in the future, nothing is perfect. Why no updates on twitter, I am told no interent / ISP no updates to twitter.

Re: Torrent Discussions

anyone know of any sites that doesnt have their TV-shows packed in RAR files (like TVtorrents). TVtorrents has been really unstable the last year and Im looking for something new, but I don't want to have to deal with unpacking and taking up twice the space because of seeding.

Re: Torrent Discussions

Try a Program called Torrentrover.  I have been using it for a couple of years now.

I setup my NAS to automatically check this every hour.. Other than adding new shows every now and then, I don't think Ive manually downloaded a torrent in years. Highly recommended!

you do know that you can watch those rarfiles as a video in vlc without unpacking? Just open the .rar file in vlc and MAGIC.

Felt like an idiot the first time I learned that myself about 2 years ago.
