Next week is the fall finale which is the conclusion of last nights episode. Usually the first episodes got all the hype and crazy shit happens and the second part just undo's all the good shit that happen in the previous episode. Though for sure the one chick is dead, might be a cop out with the body guard somehow living.

We never saw the guy get shot. Screen went to black on his face then the gun shot then the credits.

Nope he works on Shield. Though I guess with so many people dying you could say this shows producers are a fan of Joss's work.

I just watched the 9 episodes in one go prompted by your opinions and I have to say I like it.
Better than Sleepy Hollow. Not perfect, the writing is lazy sometimes but it is OK most of the time.

38 Days to next episode. Man I hate US TV schedulings. Nice mid-season finale. Wasn't even bothered by some of the cliches they handled them pretty well considering and it was gripping enough.

I thought it odd she didn't get Spaders blood tested to see if he was her father.
After all she picked up a blood soaked cloth with his tracker chip in.
He was bound to lie when asked directly.
Also the husband storyline is getting painfull.
She needs to find out what he is up to

Well she might have already got it checked and wanted to hear it from him if he actually would admit to it if he actually is it. Or she might not have been able to get it checked since it was taken into evidence by the FBI and she doesn't want them to find out if he really is or isn't which the FBI actually might check on their own also. About the husband plot line i think he is a sleeper somehow used by the syndicate that used Anslo to get Red to show him who's apparently the boss.

Reddington did say that he was offering something the feds didn't know about, and maybe Red doesn't know the full extent of the conspiracy either. These huge conspiracies are a favorite entertainment trope. The Mentalist just finished a major arc about one (the Blake Association and its leader Red John). These things never exist in reality, but that is an unpopular observation.

Decent season so far. Almost Human and Brooklyn 9-9 take the cake for being the new shows I wait for the most each week, but I really like Spader in this. Sucks to be on this long of a pause.

Watched five episodes. It's well done, a bit silly sometimes and over-the-top, but fast paced, not stupid and is always interesting. And Spader himself just owns everyone else.
