Re: Season 1
On Golden Boy it was Flash-forward 7 years in the future. It's just the shows grand plan to give the audience hope they have shit figured out.
Re: Season 1
I met with the conversation. I know the story. I'm just lost on the whole argument thing.
pointless discussion over a mediocre show.
Re: Season 1
well and i watched episode 2. crappy show grows even worse. i will not dump it yet, because i discussed this with some friends and they reminded me that show from last year with submarine. i agreed. this 2 episodes have not yet been so awful yet.
Re: Season 1
Well pretty much the opposite of what Zion said. I am enjoying the show and it reminds me a lot of the early Fringe days.
Re: Season 1
childish storytelling is enjoyable?
Re: Season 1
If GodZionu doesnt like it then this show must be quite good.

Sounds promising
Re: Season 1
Still to early to say so will side with the great Zion on this one...never can tell just a couple episodes in anyways - all good shows need to grow on you abit!
Re: Season 1
Maybe this show just fills some random niche I have because for the most part I don't think it dropped all that much from the pilot. Nor more so than you can expect from shows. I can't think of a single shows whose second episode was on the same level of the pilot.
Re: Season 1
OK, Here's just an observation from the first episode:
There was a quick establishing shot of a road sign:
"Village of Sleepy Hollow, Population 144000"
Isn't that a rather large population for a village? I mean, I live in a village, and there are about 600 of us here.
Yes, it is a small village that I live in, but still.
With a population of 144000, shouldn't it be a town? Or even a city?
Yes I know, this has nothing to do with the plot of the show, but it still bothers me. I mean, how is that a "Sleepy Hollow"?
Re: Season 1
My guess is it was suppose to say 14000 but the person behind the sign misread the production notes. I never paid attention to the sign so not sure.
Re: Season 1
"Village of Sleepy Hollow, Population 144000"
the number 144000 has a Biblical meaning. like the 4 riders of the Apocalypse.

i love you too guys
Re: Season 1
I wonder where people appearing in dreams take classes on how to be as obscure as possible when telling what to do next.
As for the story, I'm still waiting it to take shape. As of right now I'm unsure whether it's a continuous story or we get a lot of "deal with random horrors" episodes. Hoping for the former.

Re: Season 1
I watched the second episode and I felt it was better or maybe I just got used to it. There are still things that I don't like but the two main characters somehow work together and it saves the show. It will remain on my watchlist in the "if there's nothing better at the moment" section.
Re: Season 1
after episode 3 this show needs a miracle to stay in my watchlist. i will give it 1 more week.
Re: Season 1
Episode three has been the weakest so far, but I enjoyed most of it. Shows a nice sci-fi break from the regular dramas that air on Monday.
Re: Season 1
i don't think a thought up Mohawk demon qualifies as a sci-fi.
Re: Season 1
Ep 3 was okayish, maybe the show won't go in the direction I was afraid it would. I didn't mind the sand demon but obviously the show is still finding its feet. I'll give it a chance - still on my backup list.
And yes, it is urban fantasy rather than sci-fi.
Re: Season 1
Fantasy and sci-fi are in the same realm together. I know the difference, but I still view them the same.
Re: Season 1
Clarke said it best. Every sufficiently advanced technology seems like magic. I guess it's kind of normal to put them into same realm.

Blasphemy!
You should be burnt!
