Re: Vikings

Haven't seen GoT 3x01 yet, so i can't compare but Vikings is getting better and better and becoming a worthy successor to Spartacus for me.

Yeah I agree getting good now and looking like a Spartacus replacement  smile

34

Re: Vikings

well acording to imdb they made only 8 episodes.

I wanna head more from Vana commenting the "accuracy" of a lifestyle and habits/traditions. unfortunately i do not know much about Vikings, so this series is pure gold for me!

Re: Vikings

I wouldn't call it spectacular. It's good light entertainment, but opposed to shows like NCIS or H5-0 it doesn't treat you like a moron. wink

Re: Vikings

a slight cooldown episode to prepare for the next one. i'm still loving this show. i do not know how historically accurate it is, since Vana seems to be busy to comment, but loving it.

i still do not grasp the concept of buring someone in the ship. i guess this was the reason vikings ran out of wood.

Re: Vikings

Nice chaos though when the killing starts, and this bedroom thing historically accurate? They seem to propose it a lot.
And you do grasp the concept of mummies or pharaoh burials?

you do know that you are wrong about that?

You are probably referring to the Giza pyramids, which probably did not have any dead bodies inside because they were looted a very very long time ago.

Re: Vikings

Did not know I was needed in here tongue

I've only watched the two first episodes as of yet. I was thinking of waiting until all the episodes were out before watching the rest, but if it is as good as you say (although I highly doubt I'll think it better than GoT S3), I might pick it up the next few days.

Then I'll be back with my historical point of view.
