Awesome explanation from the creator, and he's completely right about the feeling he had. I'm happy he chose to do the dignified thing and not try to wring out more eps with the cons drag queens and bank robbers slowly getting saggier and more family-oriented.

Re: Banshee

Good decision. For me, as good as it is/was, it was starting to slowly wear thin on the original concept. With a good final season, I'm sure we'll be satisfied.

I’m not going to get specific, but we all know the signs: stunt casting, trips to exotic locales, weddings, Mulder leaving, etc. We all know that feeling of helpless frustration when a good show gets left out too long and goes stale.

Hilarious... big_smile

Pete : Well... you... you told me to investigate ok ? So... she's unarmed.

Re: Banshee

Great final episode, this series will be sorely missed, one of the best I've ever seen.

I found this last short season remarkably below par. It felt from the off like they were just looking for a way to tie up all the loose ends of the series in the shortest possible time. If they hadn't introduced the out-of-character-for-the series, insane, Hannibal-Lecter-style, satanic serial killer, the rest of it could have been wrapped up in half an hour.

For a series that was of such high quality, it was a major disappointment in my book.

Re: Banshee

There were a lot of loose ends and it was nice for a show like this to deal with all them in a competent fashion. Liked it.

Re: Banshee

Great finish to an excellent series.

Re: Banshee

Sad to see it go, one of the rare series that didn't have a poor season.

And what a fantastic last line and delivery from Job!
