Re: Random gaming discussion
I'm hoping for a nice discount during the Steam Summer Sale.

Re: Random gaming discussion
Wolfenstein new order is one of those very few games where I have not only done achievement hunting, but also gotten 100%. Playing "Rebuild 3: Gangs of Deadville" right now and enjoying it quite a lot.

Re: Random gaming discussion
Everyone has their guilty pleasures. I spend too much time playing racing games (spent probably +200 hours in each Forza game (2-4, don't have an Xbox One to play FM5), recently about 100 hours in Driveclub, now pCars).

Re: Random gaming discussion
It's not a guilty pleasure at this point, but a hobby. I mean, I just yesterday spent 20€ on electronic hats. Beautiful hats, yes, but still hats.

Re: Random gaming discussion
I finished Tales from the Borderlands episode 1 yesterday. It was a really good experience - tons of great humour and I like all the characters. I'm not a big Borderlands fan so I gotta ask - does the Bossanova appear in the main series or is he exclusive in the Telltale game?

Re: Random gaming discussion
Heh, I actually couldn't finish even episode one. After Dreamfall Chapters and Life is Strange, current Telltale games feel empty and dull. Press button, press button, press button, press button, walk a few feet for the illusion of gameplay, press button, press button, end.

Re: Random gaming discussion
I waited until it was on a big sale and I'm treating it as an interactive movie. It's nice that it can be played for most of the time with one hand so I can hold beer or chips in the other one.

Re: Random gaming discussion
Announced this morning at E3 in Los Angeles, today we can finally reveal the next installment for The Walking Dead: A Telltale Games Series, set to premiere later this fall! The Walking Dead: Michonne - A Telltale Games Mini-Series stars the iconic character from the comic book series haunted by her past and coping with unimaginable loss and regret. The story explores her untold journey during the time between issues #126 and #139. Through this Telltale Games mini-series of 3 episodes, players will discover what took Michonne away from Rick, Ezekiel, and the rest of her trusted group… and what brought her back. You can expect to see the premiere this fall on PC/Mac, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360, and compatible iOS and Android-based devices. You'll need at least the first episode of The Walking Dead: Season Two in order to play The Walking Dead: Michonne, but we'll have more info on that for you closer to the premiere date. So why did we choose Michonne for Telltale's first-ever mini-series? Robert Kirkman and Telltale's own Kevin Bruner can tell you more... "In many ways, Michonne herself is a reflection of the world of The Walking Dead. She is brutal and cold on the outside, but deep beneath what is broken, she remains hopeful, trying to claw her way out of the darkness that surrounds her," said Robert Kirkman, creator of The Walking Dead. "In our effort to bring the world of the comic and the world of the Telltale series closer together, there is no greater character than Michonne to help bridge that gap." "Michonne's complexity and range make her an ideal lead for the compelling interactive drama fans have come to expect from Telltale," said Kevin Bruner, Co-Founder and CEO of Telltale Games. "With this mini-series, players will experience Michonne's challenges first-hand, and the choices they make will shape her journey. We're incredibly honored by Robert for the opportunity to share this untold story in The Walking Dead universe."
Sounds like a better filler than 400 Days.

Stopped reading around issue 100, so I'm not gonna buy it. That, and I don't like Telltale's games anymore.

Re: Random gaming discussion
I stopped somewhere around Issue #126. The finale of Negan's storyline (Volume 21) was great, but I don't like what they've done with the story after that. Maybe someday I'll catch up again.

Re: Random gaming discussion
My new favorite is Horizon. Main character <3
Also, Uncharted 4 looked great. I can't wait to get my hands on the Uncharted Trilogy in October, because I never played it on PS3.

There's also some sad news about the new Hitman game and its planned episodic/early-access structure. Hopefully Square's conference will show that it's not total crap.

Re: Random gaming discussion
Fergus It's nice that they ▼Spoiler made the consequence of that choice come back before the final fight

Re: Random gaming discussion
I also chose Fergus and now I'm doing a Wyatt playthrough. The differences:
▼Spoiler You get armor upgrades; Instead of hotwiring, you pick locks, leading to new areas; you get a different side character in the resistance; and obviously the end AI fight.

Re: Random gaming discussion
I've been real stingy with this latest Steam Sale. I only bought Life is Strange episode 1 because I remembered reading it on here and comparing it to Season 1 of TWD. I'm not too sure what to think yet. The mystery seems kinda cool, in a Twin Peaks kinda way. I also loved how some random things that I did the game warned me THIS WILL HAVE CONSEQUENCES!... aaaand then the end credits rolled and the only consequences I witnessed were in the end credits?!? WTF? Was this it, or are they visited in the upcoming episodes? If not, I think I might wait for a larger discount and buy Wolfenstein instead.
