Moffat is just being very diplomatic imo, its not like he is going to say "the guy is a douche and hates the show now.." even if its true.

Yes it was :-)
Just finished watching for the second time! It was epic
Re: 50th Anniversary Special
EPIC!! And just when you thought it couldn't get better, we get the last 10 minutes. TB for the WIN!!!
Re: 50th Anniversary Special
eh...I was disappointed. Parts were good but ... I just don't think the show is what I want it to be.
Re: 50th Anniversary Special
awesome was completely absorbed throughout
Re: 50th Anniversary Special
so heres the question
Is Matt Smith the 12th Doctor?
Re: 50th Anniversary Special
But (River Song having possibly rebooted his 12 regens aside) Matt Smith is the 12th incarnation leaving capaldi as the 'last'. Obviously Moffat will come up wirh some jiggerypokery to allow things to continue im just wondering what the official word is
Re: 50th Anniversary Special
GENIUS! Now you all better watch this before reading this forum but...
Re: 50th Anniversary Special
At one point I was thinking it was not going anywhere
5 minutes later it was awesome and never stopped
Re: 50th Anniversary Special
I enjoyed it, but I wasn't blown away by it at all. "Epic" and "fantastic" are thrown around so easily these days.
My favourite part was Tom Baker's appearance, he'll always be my favourite Doctor.
Re: 50th Anniversary Special
Saw it on the Theatre, in 3D, surrounded by fans and screaming girls and the former governor of my state, in one of several screening rooms of an overcrowded multiplex in a shopping mall ... so I cannot, in good conscious, say anything critical about it except that I had a great time and the images on the big screen are amazing.
Plotwise, explains a lot, specially two points: Why there are surviving Daleks; and that whole Master/Rassilon Deal with the Tenth Doctor.
Re: 50th Anniversary Special
anyone has seen this yet? comedy how the classic doctors try to get a part in anniversary special.

Excellent! Now that was fantastic and epic! Lots of cameos, even Jon Pertwees son Sean. I preferred it to the 50th Anniversary Special!
In all seriousness, I always hoped they'd do a real "six doctors" or whatever it would be for all the remaining Doctors. I guess this is as close we'll get.
