Jack : I got us off the island. Myka : You slept with her didn't you ?
Pete : Well... you... you told me to investigate ok ? So... she's unarmed. Re: Arrow (1x01 - 2x22)I like this show, but there were some inconsistencies (sp?) in the make-up departement. The scar the bad boss (Summer) got from the arrow first time, changed from one to two lines. And the green around Arrows eyes was gone before he took of the hood the last time. Other than that, a show that I will keep on my list. Re: Arrow (1x01 - 2x22)I'm really enjoying this show, its surprisingly good. While a lot of the elements are kind of cliche and melodramatic, the story with his girlfriend, his sister, his friend.... I gotta say the main actor Stephen Amell REALLY pulls it all together. Im lovin it, cant wait to learn more about the island. (If it has a smoke monster I'm out though) -Exo Re: Arrow (1x01 - 2x22)Re: Arrow (1x01 - 2x22)Sofie777 wrote:
It's coz they used a reverse shot of him putting the hood on, if you watch him blink afterwards its totally off kilter Saying that, I am really enjoying this show too, its got just the right level of cliche and melodrama for a comic book show for me Re: Arrow (1x01 - 2x22)I've given up on this, watched 2 episodes but the fighting scenes in the 2nd episode were a crappy (just watch where he's fighting the Triad blonde about 32mins in) And how is he avoiding getting shot with 3 people with machine guns after him, he can just disappear in an instant too (at least Batman had the toys and armour to make it sorta believable) Re: Arrow (1x01 - 2x22)Ep 3, there are no hot IT girls that look like this, ever. DRM "manages access" in the same way that Prison "manages freedom".

Indeed.. that was very unrealistic! Re: Arrow (1x01 - 2x22)cneddy wrote:

http://xkcd.com/488/ Re: Arrow (1x01 - 2x22)Yeah, she made me scream "FAKE" at the screen as it totally took me out of the realism. Re: Arrow (1x01 - 2x22)If she was an ITT for a store that would be one thing but the main ITT for a billion dollar company makes is more believable to me. So anyone think Deadshot is really dead? Re: Arrow (1x01 - 2x22)Not true. I have encountered many, in NY and CA. In NYC, I have met aspiring actresses who temp programming and as sysadmins. Pays better than waiting on tables. May be the same in LA, but cannot confirm that. Go figure. Wizard wrote:

yeah, i thougt it seemed ridicoulus too, but i guess its a fine line to tread, to find the balance between the comic book world and the belivable real world. "The speed of the Ninja, is the speed of the night."

Re: Arrow (1x01 - 2x22)Tattooing names is just a step up from tattooing tear drops for each kill in gangs on tv. Re: Arrow (1x01 - 2x22)That's not where these TV shows live. Ranger wrote:

no, never said they did. what i said was, that they have find a balance between the comic book world and the real world, so that they can create a TV series world, that is exiting but dont apear ridicolus "The speed of the Ninja, is the speed of the night."

Ive seen quite a few very decent IT girls, the flaw in the episode is that the people who work in some kind of backroom doing IT don't tend to have 10layers of makeup on. And this makeup can actually make what we associate with ordinary IT look like what we saw in that episode. Suasor wrote:
Trying to portray a unrealistic show as happening in a real world is something very common for the Superhero genre. 74 2012-11-01 02:37:35 (edited by Rwings 2012-11-01 02:37:52)Re: Arrow (1x01 - 2x22)This episode felt like a season three finale type deal I wonder were there going to take it now. Show is by far my favorite of the new shows. Posts: 51 to 75 of 216Forums - Next Episode → Arrow → Arrow (1x01 - 2x22) |
