Awake
Well after all the hype what a let down. I almost stopped watching after 15 minutes. I stuck it out till the end but not one I will be bothering with in the future.

Re: Awake
The series premiere of NBC's Awake drew just a 1.9 adults 18-49 rating, and 6.247 million viewers. Hello and goodbye.

I see it as good ratings for NBC, since Prime Suspect and The Firm drew around 1.0 18-48 in that day and timeslot.

Re: Awake
I hope it lasts, it was a great first episode, with a fantastic premise that I really want to see explored.

It was a premiere episode, so it should drop a lot in the upcoming episodes. Also, Awake didn't have any real competition last night.

True, but let's wait for the second episode, you need to dots to draw a line.

Re: Awake
The second one was more procedural, but just a tiny little bit. Still very good, and the cinematography.

Re: Awake
Very interesting premise....will be a challenge for it to not de-evolve into a straight-out procedural though... ...so far I'm really enjoying it... -Rob

I still enjoy this show. Getting some interesting plotting in the end there doesn't hurt either.

Re: Awake
This show is fantastic, but of course no one watches it and it will get fucking cancelled. Typical.

Re: Awake
Bad ratings? that sucks, because it is one of the best ideas for a show that I've encountered in a while...lots of layers and complexity, with the capacity for a simple surface story for each episode too...easy to hop on to it I would think...not a show where you necessarily have to know every detail, because the important info is spelled out entirely in the show's intro... -Rob
