Re: 2x08
That car crash is one of the dumbest things ever created in the history of television. XD
This! And not just the crash itself but the whole reasoning behind the whole "I'ma go get me husband bye thx!" episode. So badly written that I literally facepalmed.
Leave. The Fucking. Farm. Already.
The end scene was decent and for the first time it showed, the don't trust anyone desperation the comic has going on.
I wish there were no zombies in it so I could drop it...
Re: 2x08
Actually the ending is also really bad. You casted Michael Raymond-James in your show, a fantastic actor to say the least, and you fucking kill him in 8 minutes of the show?!
Yeah I was also a bit disappointed to see him gone so soon. Maybe they were worried that he would have out acted everyone else in the show?
Now you made me miss Terriers. Maybe it should have had zombies in it as the level of writing plays no role...
Re: 2x08
I still like it as I like the slow pace, mood, etc. BUT... gotta admit that whoever has the job to write Lori's part (because there's usually a team of half brains writing the whole thing) should get fired and flagged as the most idiotic writer in Hollywood and never find a job again.
Overall, good episode (as far as I'm concerned obviously) except for this part where the writers just don't seem to know what to do with this character and throws at it the first stupid thing that comes to mind.
Pete : Well... you... you told me to investigate ok ? So... she's unarmed.

Even worse writing was how that whole scene was set up. Before Rick left to get Hershel Lori moaned at him that he shouldn't leave because Carl needs him. And bear in mind that Rick wasn't leaving alone and they knew the way. So after a little while mrs Skeletor gets upsett and decides to leave by herself without knowing where the fuck she's going. So I guess the wellbeing of her son wasn't that important after all? I'm willing to forgive such illogicalnes between 2 episodes, thinking maybe the writers just forgot, but this is just plain bad and not giving a shit. If you can't hold the writing logical for 10 fucking minutes you should just quit, period! Syfy original movies have better writing than that!
Re: 2x08
Meh. Nothing changed so far
Dale is bitching about Shane and how evil he is for the millionth time.
Lori is stupid.
No Zombies.
No story development.
Lori is stupid.
A farfetched moment where two random guys walk into a bar and take on three guys in a gunfight for no apparent reason.
One of the lamest plot devices in TV history, already described by Quinlan.
And not to forget. Lori is stupid.
Does she get killed in the comics? Is there any hope that this will happen in the show anytime soon?
Re: 2x08
overall i thought it was a half decent episode, but the part with Lori.....? WTF!? first of you could see it comming loooong before it happend, and its so not logical and stupid and... stupid! she couldnt wait 5 minutes for Rick to return? I usually dont complain that much about tv shows, but that was truly:
That car crash is one of the dumbest things ever created in the history of television. XD
Re: 2x08
...for some reason I keep watching...there's so much potential for TWD to be awesome...it seems like the writers would have to actually try to write this poorly...I mean, it'd be tough to write such garbage by accident. A show like this should really write itself, for goodness' sake...
...the premise of this vs. a show like Alcatraz...TWD has so much more potential! and yet they seem to want to do everything but capitalize on that...
It's the lack of potential that made it easy to drop Alcatraz...and with all that potential in TWD I just can't bring myself to stop watching it yet...even though it'll probably never materialize...

Re: 2x08
I think the car crash was just a lame way "to get rid of" the baby, seriously.
Mark my words, the baby was the only thing that is keeping them in the farm (so that they give birth in a safe place)
No baby = No need to stay in the farm anymore.
BOOM shakalaka, so badly written this makes me vomit.
