Yup, I'm in a girly mood today. tongue No, but srsly, very good show. Similiar to Men in Trees and Gilmore Girls (even the town square looks the same!). Lots of funny scenes with a nice mix of dramatic ones, great cast (Rachel Bilson, Jaime King, Tim Matheson aka Larry from Burn Notice), familiar True Bloodish southern setting...

Fun fact - The mayor on the show is played by Cress Williams (Wyatt from Prison Break). big_smile

I just watched the first season and thought it was alright. The quirky town is more interesting to me than the triangle though.

I watched about half of the first season and sadly I had enough. I think the poorly written love affairs were the main reason. smile

Which is why I ignored that nonsense and just watched for the town. The love story just doesn't make sense the characters are fine when that part of the show isn't being written.

If you look at other CW shows (90210, Carrie Diaries, Nikita, Cult) they don't suck that much. wink And they can't afford to cancel 90% of their shows.
