Good episode? you joker.
All those petty dilemmas make me churn. The only good thing about it is that they ended with shooting zombies, cause i pretty much wanted to shoot everything during the episode. And now that they are actually going through with the child. well, its all gone pear-shaped.

Re: 2x07

i had this episode actually downloaded (i have tons of shows that get downloaded via RSS feed and i'm too lazy to edit this) and it was early in the morning and i accidentally clicked to play this. when i heard words - I am pregnant, we can not go anywhere, i choked on my coffee and almost died. so pregnancy is now extremely dangerous disease/virus, that prevents travelling? from that on i just clicked thru the episode and i did not see any improvement.

I thought this eps ending was a good way to leave it till it returns in the new year

Zombie Farm the series: Sunny days and beautiful flowers.

The ending did not redeem the 40 minutes preceeding it. Well it should get a lot better now.

About the comics:

Spoiler

I kinda wish I hadn't read them, then the ending might have been a bit more shocking.

i thought the whole episode was pretty good, but when we finally get a good episode they are going on a break???

Re: 2x07

Decent episode.

Spoiler

None of that stuff with the barn being a secret and Hershel and the group having a HUGE fight over it happened in the comics. Neither did that thing with Sophia. I did like it though.  smile

Re: 2x07

Well, IMO the finale was forced so that the show would have a cliffhanger before the long break...

Spoiler

Why would Hershel want to see Carol suffer not knowing what happened to her daughter? Besides, he's even a bigger asshole that he kept this secret so long... after all Rick's group set up camp near the barn when they arrived on the farm and they would have surely noticed "new guests". wink So if I didn't miss anything she couldn't have been caught recently, especially with the barn having only one entrance.

Re: 2x07

I thought it was the best episode of the series so far...had faults, but laid ground for some positive change at least.

About what's in the spoiler tags:

Spoiler

When they went catching zombies with Rick, Hershel said that it was Otis who did the zombie capturing, thus I think none of the barn residents were aware of Sophia being in the barn.

True, I forgot about that... but Patricia (and probably other farm residents) came to feed them meat once in a while and I'm sure a young girl would stand out. smile

In defence of that,

Spoiler

you wouldn't see a girl, because you wouldn't look at them. Throw the chicken from a heigh and back away.
Let's look at it this way. If she would hid in the barn while being alive, they would rip her to pieces, ergo she was put in the bar while being a zombie. It was Otis, who grabed them, which is funny, since Carl was shot by Otis wink I know, he was hunting, just saying. But if Otis grabes them, I can't believe that he wouldn't tell anyone that he caught a little girl.
Kirkman said, that Hershel didn't know, but in terms of the tv show, I tend not to believe him, since he lost hic credibility to be ok with such bad scripts.

Re: 2x07

agreed. it's utterly stupid that whoever caught that little girl as a zombie, you would mention it to someone. it's a nature of human being to speak of oddities/things that are different than normal to everyone.
i got one more idea, but i will not write it here.

Re: 2x07

why the hell did they changed the opening of the barn? because of that stupid girl?

i think i don´t get this show .... it´s like somebody wants to build a racecar and has the blueprints of an actual formula 1 car in his hands but needs to change some small things to fit it into the rules of a championship he wants to drive and he ends up with a tank

Re: 2x07

Personally, I like this show a lot. And since I'm not spoiled by the comic, I can't compare it and that's a good thing.

Flawed in many ways of course but I appreciate a show that sometimes goes into simple moments and character exploration and not only POWPOW you're dead that gets boring after 2 episodes.

Although I had a small doubt, I still had a small surprise for the ending and it was a great piece that got mucho help from a good score. (Bear McCreary - BSG).

Myka : You slept with her didn't you ?
Pete : Well... you... you told me to investigate ok ? So... she's unarmed.
