Topic: Anger Management
Anger Management
Former Two and a Half Men star Charlie Sheen will return to television in summer 2012 on FX in Anger Management, a new sitcom loosely based on Revolution Studios’ 2003 hit comedy feature of the same name, announced John Landgraf, President and General Manager, FX Networks. The network has ordered 10 episodes for the first season, with an additional 90-episode option if the show becomes a hit, in order to lock up syndication rights. Ok I loved the movie so I hope Sheen can pull it together and succeed here.

Daemons are benevolent or benign nature spirits, beings of the same nature as both mortals and gods, similar to ghosts, chthonic heroes, spirit guides, forces of nature or the gods themselves.

Re: Anger Management
It's FX so I'll probably see at least the pilot, but the premise for the show doesn't sound that interesting.

I didn't even laugh once during the pilot episode. Extremely boring.

Re: Anger Management
I'm one of the few who didn't like the movie, and Charlie Sheen is retarded. So I didn't touch the torrent when I saw it

Re: Anger Management
That cast is full of celebrities. Or should we say rejects from other fail shows. Selma Blair was the only one i liked but not in a funny way.

Re: Anger Management
ok it was not funny per se, but does a comedy show has to be funny? ok maybe it should be but i'm already glad that it diden't make me angry, like when i watch wilfred. After that show i want to kill dogs and i usually love dogs.

Re: Anger Management
Anger Management drew 5.47 million total viewers, with 2.65 mil falling in the coveted 18-49 demo — each tally setting a record for a scripted cable comedy debut. That total audience also represents the most-watched series premiere in FX history.

Re: Anger Management
No better or worse than two and a half men. Actually its probably better than the new two and a half men... I don't mind charlie plus its mindless light entertainment and there isn't much else on atm. I'll keep watching and see how it goes.

Re: Anger Management
Ok, I just saw the 2 episodes and it was kind of bad. And very different from the usual FX comedies.

I'm keeping it for now... for Selma Blair and Shawnee Smith, if I have to justify it before myself

Re: Anger Management
Wow I really tried liking this one. First I thought that my expectations were wrong and thus it seemed bad (off beat FX comedy with crazy Charlie Sheen in the lead). So I decided to give it another go, but no. It seems that the comedic timing on this one is just completely off. Like every punch line they say, they leave a small pause before it and cut to different angle. And the jokes keep going on and on, like one joke has 3 different punch lines and each of them worse than the one before. I have liked Charlie Sheen since Hot Shots movies but this one is a huge let down for me. The only saving graces where the 2 and a half men puns, but they were too few and far between. No tiger blood on this show and it's not Winning for me.

Re: Anger Management
I admit that the best jokes are the "meta" ones ( the shirt , Grace under fire and his Ex in the last episode). Still I think the expectations are too high and people drop it , but it ain't that bad if you look at it as the next new comedy , given time it can work. It might be just me but I'd be dissapointed if it gets axed.

Re: Anger Management
I've yet to see Man at work , chances are will like it since I like light comedies. Wilfred is pretty cool tho. I'm not as hyped for it as was in season 1 but still is great and different from all the other comedies I watch.
