Anywho. This series went from not (at all) living up to its potential - to hands down the best series of the season, in my book. And it's been a good season. Aweseome comeback after the bog standard action mush of the first five or six episodes.
I totally agree. This show has gotten better the whole season. Like an athlete preparing for the Olympics, they're peeking in the finale. This surprises me, cause i thought this would be an okay, slightly entertaining show.

Registered just to say the following;
I really don't like it when they claim to use the Dutch language in series followed by the actors speaking German.
Just a little check is required and it makes it so much more appealing. Now I was completely thrown out of the story by this stupid mistake.
Other than that great show

I do cause I just started watching this show two weeks ago 
. Also I think their was a typo in the script that never got fixed because giving dog commands is almost always German.

Isn't Dutch just German with a bunch of extra vowels added? Can a dog even tell the difference?

If i'm not mistaken then did Dutch originate from German but that doesn't mean that it's very similar, i understand some words now and then but that's about it.
But since there are similarities i think to learn german as a dutch and vise versa should not be awefully difficult, as compared to russian, i think.

No it's definitely different. They are both Germanic languages and although they sometimes sound the same, English is also a Germanic language and that doesn't sound the same as Dutch or German.

Slowly climbing the ladder of Best show at the moment. Just like it grew the same way for the previous season.

What is it about this show that you all are liking so much? Having just started watching this show in the last few weeks I can say that I do enjoy it, but in no way is it one of my favorites. Just curious what makes it so appealing to you all.

As in "the first few episodes on season one"? The show come together in the end of last season. Watch the episodes with Enrico Colantoni and the last 3-4, somehow they made it all interesting in the end.

The show started very slow in the first maybe 10 Episodes... Then they really picked up the pace and it's gotten very interesting quickly... Especially the last couple of Episodes...

I'm all caught up with the show. I just met I started watching it a few weeks ago meaning I saw all of season one in a span of a few days so their wasn't the week long break waiting for episodes. I find depending on how you watch a show has an affect on how you view the show. Like people who watch Lost now tend not to have the resentment that years of waiting and discussing of answers brought people.

At the beginning of season 1, I though it was a bit boring. Especially since it is filled with clichés like the cool guy who can kill with his pinky toe.
But over time, it just slowly fell in the "Good show" category somehow and it rarely (if at all) went below the line that makes an episode a borefest.

i think i like the actors there. maybe for me less means more. only 2 lead and 2 not so much lead actors make this show work. some shows use hundres of people and it gets hard to like or dislike them all.

The leads, the use of reverse procedural (before it happens), the stellar action sequence, specially for network tv, excellent dialogues and oneliners (Just because you're paranoid it doesn't mean that there isn't someone following you), but mostly how they build the backstory of the characters. Like for example 2x01, in the present Resse needed to find Finch, but the machine had him to carry on, and the backstory was how Finch taught it exactly how to do that.

Also what they have done very well is that the machine works consistently. They have created a logic about the way it works and they stick to it. With a machine like that it would be so easy to let it do really random stuff that makes no sense. They have made their own logic within the show and work accordingly.

And even then, the "victim" wasn't random. The "victim" was one that could give a piece of information on how to find Finch. Even though Reese didn't realise it.
