Yeah, that bit was brilliant! ▼Spoiler Overall this movie made much better use of the Hulk than anything in the previous two movies.

▼Spoiler After the credits you got to see the mastermind behind the alien attack as a setup for the next movie. I didnt know who it was myself but i looked it up and he is called Thanos. When reading about him on wikipedia it seems like it falls in order with what happened in the comics.

There is another scene right at the very very end of the credits as well though. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F2GeMnQ0scg

Re: The Avengers
I saw this movie in 3D but was a bit disappointed how little 3D effects it actually had. But the movie is a good for entertainment and has alot of bits that made me laugh but I've trouble seeing how it can be rated 8.8 on IMDB.

Re: The Avengers
The movie was great, but unfortunately I had to see it in 3D. The 3D was all blurry and dark and ruined a lot of the movie. I might go see it again in 2D if I can. At least it'll be nice and clear once it's out on Blu-Ray.

Re: The Avengers
just came back from the cinema and saw it in 3D. it was great, funny dialogs, scenes and superb cgi. Whedon finally deserves a blockbuster. @toidol: While the 3D wasn't the best out there, it was still pretty good. Nothing blurry or dark, maybe your cinema is not new and upgraded to digital yet?

Re: The Avengers
Im not a huge 3D fan but if you're going to see it, see it in IMAX. You dont lose anywhere near the amount of light you do in the normal screening

Re: The Avengers
The most of the 3D was in the end credits... the movie was...meh, maybe 8-ish thanks to Scarlette and Cobie...
...where did I put that rat's ass I could give?

Re: The Avengers
I don't know what specs IMAX has but I went to a 2012 renovated cinema with a 4k digital projector that to my knowledge is top of the line. Compared to Hugo that I saw on blu ray on a Sony with active 3d it wasn't really any good in the 3D-aspect. But I still recommend people to watch this movie it was entertaining and fun but I still claim it doesn't earn a place on the top 250 movie list on IMDB.

Re: The Avengers
I loved it. Can't think of a better superhero movie at the moment. All characters had equal screen time. Captain America didn't bore me. The Hulk was fantastic and I guess did steal the film, but overall I was pretty blown away, as was my mate who saw it with me last night. It had a story, action and laughs, and I can't ask for more than that.
2020. Meh.

imax doesn't have a 4K projector yet but there is no movie either which has this resolution. But since the screen is so much bigger than any normal cinema i can assume that any effect is more visible there.
