Topic: 2x19 BlockadeOther than getting full power and loosing all their fresh plants on the ship this was definately a filler episode. Since it was mentioned before that probably the episodes were written before the cancellation, i can't see any point of this episode. Sad.

But I agree - having the series finale ahead we need more dramatic episodes with conclusions to many plot linesll I guess we don't get ths And what was this last thingy than submerged from the sky? Re: 2x19 BlockadeI really liked it, it continued and deepened the theme that they are getting desperate. It is almost reminding me of the first episode of BSG season 1 when the cylons kept finding them again and again 33 minutes after they jumped....as machines they can keep doing it but the humans are getting tired etc. After being one of its biggest critics in season 1 and almost being glad they had cancelled it, I'm really going to miss this show now, this season has been really entertaining. Re: 2x19 BlockadeThis was actually a very good episode - both stories were thrilling and well-told. And it was one of the funniest episodes I can remember: "Holy crap, we dialed Pittsburgh," and "Maybe they are Canadian," etc. were hilarious one-liners. "We're on the side of the demons, Chief. We're evil men in the gardens of paradise, sent by the forces of death to spread devastation and destruction wherever we go."

I hate that it's been canceled. This is a much better show than Atlantis, yet it somehow lasted 5 seasons. It's such a shame, and I don't think there is any way they can wrap this show up in just a couple of episodes that would do it justice. Shame on the people behind the cancellation of this show. Shame shame shame.

You have to agree that the last series of Atlantis was just terrible, the second last wasn't too great either...plus it brought us the most hated female character in Sci-Fi history..I don't think I need to mention her name. It's hard to remember Atlantis being great with such a poor finish. I'll say that I think SGU at it's best was better than Atlantis at it's best.

Atlantis is a "fun" show, SGU is playing on a darker tone and while I do appreciate the overbeaten Oneil Clone (Shepard) and the crazy scientist and all, the SGU crew has more realistic behavior (well, sort of) given the situations they are put in. This has been the best Stargate since they took away all the cheesy humour and made it more "real" / dark.
