Re: Best TV catchphrase?
It's so hard to decide (That's what she said) but I went with "Legen-wait for it-dary" Altough Bazinga, How you doin'?, Suit up and Indeed are all awesome.
...where did I put that rat's ass I could give?
Daemons are benevolent or benign nature spirits, beings of the same nature as both mortals and gods, similar to ghosts, chthonic heroes, spirit guides, forces of nature or the gods themselves.

Re: Best TV catchphrase?
So it's not really the "Best TV catchphrase", more like "What the best TV catchphrase out of these shows, some you may not have even watched?"

Re: Best TV catchphrase?
You included a catchphrase from Allo Allo before you thought of, say "Fascinating" by Spock from the original Star Trek, "Intriguing" by Data from TNG, or "Oh boy" by Sam from Quantum Leap? o.O

He forgot way more than that... "Smeghead!", "Don't make me angry, you wouldn't like me when I'm angry", "Oh Penny! Knock knock knock...", "Listen carefully, I will say this only once", "That's damn fine coffee", Ggiggiggiddy", oh, there are tons more. And no need for the "Oh you poor things" comment, Orlando. I find this site quite elitist sometimes. How dare anyone ever question the opinions of some of you here.
2020. Meh.

Re: Best TV catchphrase?
The poll has been discussed for many days in the poll suggestion thread, and that's what we came up with. It ain't meant to judge the catchphrases out of each and every tv show out there. Needless to say - thats not possible. It's stuff people from the site picked for the poll (everyone could've chimed in and suggested their catchphrase). graybags - I take personal offence from your comment about the site being elitist. I don't know why I care - I shouldn't, but felt I should mention it.

You mean well KB, but some people just don't grasp the idea of an entertainment poll @ThorUlf, you're right. I missed and it was a good suggestion. If I have posted the poll a few days later I'm sure it would've been included in the aggregated list of the poll choices and I wouldn't have missed it.

Re: Best TV catchphrase?
Good news, everyone !! Although I don't really like Futurama that much, the professor Farnsworth character is brilliant and his catchphrase has been used in a lot of good jokes. I use it sometimes, I must admit...

Why are you taking it personally? You have no control over what people post in the forums. It's my opinion (and I expect nobody elses) that only a certain few people post here and heaven forbid any "outsiders" disagree with the regular posters. I just really never liked the "oh you poor things" comment. I took that to mean that "Well, I'm a mod so I can do and say what I like, and I don't care what you mortals think." I certainly meant nothing nasty to you Santah, I'm not sure why you're taking it personally but I don't want this to blow up out of proportion. And to be honest, I missed the post about choosing which catchphrases to pick from. Maybe it's all my fault!

I appreciate your'e honesty. Next time I have a suggestion tho, I will aggregate it to the list myself.
