They should just make her the mother because I'm happy they got together. Who cares about the other stuff with the mother suppose to be the ones roommate, those two work well together.
This episode was good and funny and like I said I'm happy they got together, it just bugs me because we know she's not the mother more than likely.

As of this Episode... and well... since she first appeared on the show, my money for being "the mother" was and is on Zoe... They resolve the other stuff one by one in the future... trust me... they'll make it work

It would just be improvised , i'd hate that .
I want to think they already know who the mother is , not just went with it and see how it works .
Although i very much like Jennifer Morrison .

Katy Perry shoiuld have a reccuring role so I'd have another reason to watch HIMYM after an almost a year break.

Let me hijack this topic for a while and think about who Ted has been "in Love" with on the show:
1. Robin: She's been out since the very first Episode that had his kids in 2030 go "Aunt Robin?!"
2. Victoria: She was a perfect fit for Ted, until she left for a cooking school program in Germany that would last 2 years if memory serves right... IF she were to come back to the show, the door to being the mother would be open, since for all we know, the long distance relationship didn't work out. They did not mention if they met again once she was back.
3. Stella: On and Off relationship with a very bitter ending... She's not gonna be the mother.
4. Zoe: Not much to say about her yet except that hate turned into love... And I think she (Jennifer Morrisson) is a natural Brunette, so that would also not interfer with the Kids' hair colors...
5. Mystery Woman to be determined: TBA
If you had these 5 options, who would you say is turning out to be "the mother"?

5 but i still wish it was 4 since I like Jennifer and she is surprisingly good on this show with the rest of the cast. Didn't really think she could do comedy after seeing her on House.

This would have been a pretty bleak episode if it wasnt for Zoe being so cute that everytime she is on the screen my heart melts.
I think they have lied so many times on who is the mother and what sort of prophecies need to be fulfilled that i dont think there are any rules left for who it can and cannot be.

Can't be any of the other 4; it's mentioned that the mother is Cindy's college room mate (The ep where Ted dates someone, only to find that her room mate has all of the qualities that he's after, and it's mentioned that her room mate is definitely the mother. He also leaves the yellow umbrella there, which is mentioned to be the mother's).
Zoe would have been living with The Captain (probably. It's possible she wasn't, just unlikely), Stella had her own place in NJ, Victoria was in Germany at the time, and naturally can't be Robin.
